Chapter 39

"Where are you taking me, Sandee?" Copter keeps on asking but the boy just keeps on pulling him forcing him to follow wherever place the boy was taking him. Sandee was just smiling but didn't say anything, but to keep on pulling his favorite P.

"Sandee, tell me na, where are we going? We cannot go far, or it could be dangerous." Still, Sandee keeps on pulling him without saying anything. Copter then make sure to keeps his foot down and wouldn't move from where he was standing. He could smell trees and flowers along the way that makes him imagine a walking path between the trees and bushes.

"If you didn't tell me where you are taking me, I'm not moving." However, Sandee keeps on pulling him wholeheartedly. When pulling Copter's by his shoulder wasn't working, he then turns facing Copter and setting his foot on the ground using all his energy to pull Copter, yet his foot was the one moving until it touches Copter's legs.

Copter was sighing. This kid was really persistent, and when Sandee turn around again, putting Copter's arm over his shoulder while pulling him, Copter gives in to the boy and walked again, followed him. "If you bring me somewhere indecent, I won't play with you again." Still, Sandee wouldn't talk, but to just smile.

Not long after that, Copter could feel the ground was change, which filled with rocks and rocks, and it was quite slippery. "Sandee, be careful and be slow, these rocks are slippery. You....." Copter's words were halted when his feet could feel the cold and refreshing water, and by then, Sandee already stopped walking and was giggling to the shocked expression of Copter.

"You....." Copter then using his other free hand to splash the water on the boy who was still holding his hand making them both laughing. Sandee was letting go of Copter's hand to use both of his hands splashing the water in the shallow river to Copter's face. The river was shallow from end to end, and the weather was bright and shiny, doesn't show any sign of raining and the current was just slow and steady. It was safe for Copter and Sandee to just play around for a while. Copter was making sure he always know where Sandee is, and they were playing in the water until both of them were wet from head to toe.

Once Copter felt it was so long already, and both of them were tired and wet, he asks Sandee to bring them back home. He starts to feel hungry already and he knew, Sandee must be hungry too. Sandee was literally skipping his way back to the quarters, while he never once let go of Copter's hand making Copter was smiling while keeps on following the boy.

However, once he felt they were already reaching the quarter's area, Sandee's step was suddenly halted making Copter's step halted too. "What's wrong Sandee?" Copter was asking.

Copter then heard a hard step, like someone stomping their way to them, and suddenly Sandee was running hiding behind him while holding on to his pant at his thigh tightly. Judging by the way Sandee was holding on to him, Copter knew Sandee was afraid of this someone coming their way.

"You! Always causing problems and how many times I told you, you are not allowed going out of the house!" Copter was just taking up his hand trying to stop that someone, hearing the harsh voice, he could tell it was a woman older than him, from coming closer to Sandee when he heard another rushing steps and a familiar scent.

"Master Copter, where have you been? We were so worried, we couldn't find you. And why are you wet? Sandee, did you take P'Copter to the river?" Sandee was nodding his head slowly while still tugging on Copter's pants.

"River? Did you bring him alone there? Stupid boy, come here you....." Sandee was avoiding the woman and was bring Copter along with him. "Calm down, mam. We were just playing the water at the riverbank, we didn't get into the river, really. Please don't mad at him." Copter was saying while trying to calm the woman down.

"Don't tell me what to do! He....." The woman's words were cut off by the high voice of Plum. "Be respectful! He is Master Copter, a friend of Master Kimmon. I heard you volunteered to care for him, but the way you treated him, should I guess it was all for the money his father could offer you? I heard things Liviana, and do you think living here you could cover the bad things you did?" Plum asked, and no response from the woman, make it seems Plum's guessing was right after all.

Hearing Plum, Copter's expression was changed. That was awful to a kid like Sandee. "Why don't you bring Sandee's things to the quarter where I am staying? I'll take care of him. You don't have to worry much about him anymore. Plum, tell P'Kim and make sure to let Sandee's father know too. So, now, can you take us to the quarter, Plum? We were hungry and we need to change."

"I was too shocked last night that I forgot to tell you what I know. My senior was someone who involved in stock market analysis and there was this force that prevented him and the others touched Piniwat Industries' stock market. Surprisingly, it was started two years ago." Tee was talking in his break time in Tae's office in the café. He was alone when he remembered his conversation with his senior last night and was calling Kimmon right away.

"Well, it was something my men can looking into. Two years, huh? Things look uglier every time everything was up, and I don't like this. Anyway, thanks, Tee, talk to you later." Kimmon was ending the call right away making Tee was sighing remembering Kimmon's words. He missed Copter and he dialed the guy's number right away.

"Tee!" Tee was smiling wider when he heard Copter's over excitedly voice, answering his call. The reason Copter knew he was the one calling was because he and Tae had made a recording voice and had set it up as an individual call ringtone. So, Copter will always know if he or Tae was calling him.

"What are you doing?" Tee was asking him. "Just finished lunch. How are you and Tae? When are you going to visit me again?" Copter's answer just making Tee smiling nonstop. And he glad, the guy was missing him too.

Tee: "We'll come, but not now. Maybe in a few days, or most next week. How are you cope up?"

Copter: "It was great. I could play with the kids every day. And now, Sandee was living with me here, so Sun had a friend to play with while at home. But then poor baby, he had to sleep while those two boys were very loud playing with each other."

Tee: "I'm happy you are happy, Cop."

Copter: "Yeah, me too. I never thought I could live this happy again. Thanks to you, Tae and P'Kim."

Tee: "Don't mention it. Say hi to Plum and his wife. I'll call you when it's time for a visit. Till then, enjoy your life there, Cop."
