"Stop!" There was a loud voice echoed in the dark back alley when three guys have beaten up a guy and they were stopped hearing the voice. "Looks like someone else wanted to join the party. Guys, attack him." A guy among the three, a little short than the other two, seemingly their leader had given order.

The two guys came charging to the new guy in an attempt to punch him in his guts, but the guy was effectively avoiding both punches and was punching the one guy on his face and kicking the other one on his abdomen, upper-up with his knee, making him crouching on the ground with the intense hurt feeling from the kick. The guy who got a punch on the face charging the new guy once again and this time he gave him a round kick on his face yet once again, makes him fall on the floor unconscious.

Seeing his two guys were down, the leader got angry and was charging the guy faster. "You idiot!" But then, still, he wasn't fast enough when the newcomer guy gave him round kick, and he fell down unconscious right away.

The guy that was previously beaten up, who was standing up holding his hurt stomach in a corner, watching the newcomer guy effectively fighting making the two of them falling unconscious, while the other one running away, coming to the new guy.

"Thank you, P. If you weren't here, I don't know what will happen to me." The newcomer guy was looking at the guy's bruised face, an arm keeps holding on to his abdomen area. "Are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital?"

The hurt guy was frantically waving his hand while shaking his head, "No, no, no, P. Please, no. I'm okay." The newcomer was frowning to the strong denial but was brushed it off, thinking it wasn't his business anyway. They were now walking side by side coming out from the dark alley.

"Still, let me treat your wound. It needs to be clean up anyway. Anyway, I'm Copter. You?" The hurt guy was smiling while taking the hand that offered a shake to him. "I'm Suradet, you can call me Bas. Thank you P, for saving me. But, how do you know we were there. The guys think that nobody will find me for days right there, since it wasn't a usual route people would take. That's what they were saying while beating me up."

Copter was smiling while keeps looking ahead, finding his way to the nearest pharmacy, when both of them walking side-by-side, getting out from the dark alley. "I would take that way sometime if I felt like I needed an alone and quiet way back home. What about you? You seem doesn't really familiar with this area. What are you doing in that dark alley all alone? With a face like yours, it was just lucky they would just beat you up, not doing anything indecent."

Hearing Copter, Bas was frowning. "Face like me? Indecent? Like what?" Copter was tilting his head to the side with the response. 'Was this guy innocent, or play innocent?'

"You are this cute guy, and if I was the bad guy, the first thing that came to mind was to molest you." Bas was agape, and his eyes wide open hearing Copter. "P!"

Seeing the agape and shocked faces, with thin lips, pale red tongue, wide hazel eyes, thick eyelashes and a nice shape brow, Copter couldn't tear his eyes from the view until the guy's slapped his arm, for making that statement, making him laugh and he thought his heart beating abnormally fast without any reason.

He turns his focus back ahead and saw that they were already in front of the pharmacy. "You wait here, I'll buy something for your wound." Copter then pushing the door into the pharmacy heading straight to the aisles and was taking a few things he needed to treat the wounds on Bas.

They were seated at a park while Copter cleans the wounds on Bas's arm and abdomen, including his lips and his side forehead. Bas was wincing here and there and Copter would reprimand him for acting like a kid.

"Here you go. It's late at night already. Let me send you home. Where do you live?" Another strong denial from Bas, with waving hands and shaking head. "No, P. It's okay, I could go home by myself. You have done so much for me already. Sorry, I took your time when you already on your way back home."

Copter heaved another sigh. "You sure you will be okay going back home alone?" Bas was nodding his head for that. "Anyway, take my number. If you plan to have another walk at night, you can call me. But I finished my job at 11. Or maybe you can call me if you need help with anything. See you around, be careful on your way back home."

Copter then standing up and walking away, leaving Bas alone at the seat they took previously, watching Copter heading back to the way where they both were coming from.

Copter was walking, taking his steps while putting the earphone in one of his ears. Walking alone back home every night was dangerous, even for him, even though he knew the area better. Even though he wanted to listen to his playlist, he still needs to be alert with the sound from the surrounding area, so that he could be aware if anything dangerous approaching him.

Coming out from his orphanage, he manages to get a job at a cafe, since he couldn't afford to study in a college, and couldn't get any scholarship for himself either. He really wanted to study, but he knew, it would need a lot of money, and he doesn't have that. The only things his parents left when they died when he was 6, was a house where he lives right now. He felt relieved, though, no matter how hard life was, at least he had a place to stay.

He worked at the cafe for three years now, and his life was already a routine. He didn't have much in life except for work and at home. He only had a day for an off day every week, and usually, he would visit his old orphanage, for he had all his siblings' right there. Putting aside a few bucks for saving, he used his wages to buy things for the children or maybe helping them doing chores.

Copter has just arrived in front of his house, and about to open the door when his phone vibrated. Seeing the ID caller, Copter was shaking his head. "What is it, Tee? A favour again?" Tee was laughing at the other side of the call, while Copter opening his door, answering the call with the handsfree.

"You knew me too well, Cop. Tae had to go outstation, doing research for his plan to open a new branch for the cafe. Please, help me with getting the fresh supplies for the cafe tomorrow. As usual, it was an overtime pay for you." Copter was laughing while putting his backpack on the desk and taking a seat at the couch in the living room.

"Of course, I couldn't refuse for overtime. So, as usual? I'll see you at the market tomorrow then." Tee was giggling. "Thank you, Cop. You are the only lifesaver I can always count on to. See you tomorrow, then. Don't be late, okay?"

Ending the call, Copter then leaning on the couch, taking in a deep breath, looking far ahead up the ceiling. His mind was brought back to the mystery cute guy, named Bas. He wouldn't talk about himself or answering his question, except for his name. Even his name, he couldn't be sure whether it was real or not.

Thinking about Bas, it brought him back to the feelings he was long forgotten. He has never been in a relationship and his school years weren't at all enjoyable. He had good marks, and good in sports too, so he could be enrolled in a better school, turns out it was a school where usually rich students would choose to enrol. Being the black sheep in that type of school, he was tormented and bullied and looked down upon. He even had to fall in love with a girl, but it ends up bitterly when he was been rejected and humiliated in front of the whole school.

The school days after that was hell, and even though he worked hard for the sports scholarships, hockey to be precise, the sport he was good at but was denied just because he was an orphan. Nepotism was something usual at that kind of school, when a person like him will never have a chance, at all.

Bas had brought him that kind of feelings, and he didn't want to dwell on it. He still felt traumatic, and that feeling was brought him to hell, scaring him to the core.

Bas was dangerously sweet, yet he gave him his number. Sigh.
