Enigmatic Love

Chapter 14

Tee was taking Copter to his house and was asking Tae's permission beforehand. Copter had told everything that was happened to him before he was going MIA that day, with an unanswered call and un-replying tons of messages.

Tee had to go to his house since he was worrying for the said guy so much, after Copter missing mysteriously from the cafe that day. Looking at Copter's condition, Tee was worried to leave him alone in this house, at the same time afraid he would do something 'out of ordinary', so, Tee had to convince Copter to live with them temporarily so they could take care of him.

Reluctantly, Copter was agreed and he was taking his leave, for two weeks from work, since he never once applied for leave in his more than three years working at the cafe. Still, his condition couldn't be any better. He barely eats, nor could he drink. He forced himself to eat thinking about Tee and Tae's effort, still, he would throwing up after.

He filled his time spending at the back yard of the house since right there, the air was fresh and he likes the green view at the yard. Still, his mood couldn't be any better. He would be lost in his space, with dark eye bags and he was getting thinner and thinner every day's pass.

He lost the will to live his life. He felt nothing, and that nothingness had tortured him in a way he couldn't fight. His mind was blank, and every time he was trying to think of something, Bas's face and smile were the first things that will occur, so he had to wipe it out from his mind as fast as he could, ended up blanking it all, putting him in a daze once again. He keeps on repeating this cycle, yet he felt tired without doing anything. Could he get himself away from this?

Tee had to ask his doctor's friend so that he could give him an IV drip since he cannot eat nor drink properly. Still, Copter's condition couldn't get any better.

"Cop, how are you today?" Tae was coming closer to Copter in the backyard with a tray of porridge and warm water. Hearing Tae, Copter was turning to him, trying to fix a smile, but his chapped lips barely move and Tae couldn't tell whether it was a smile or just an irritating expression. Still, he comes closer to him and was putting the tray on the table in front of them.

"Let's eat something, okay? This time try to take it slowly, once at a time. It's okay if you take forever to finish this bowl, as long as you eat, I'll okay with it. I just hope you could eat something, Cop." Tae was taking the bowl of porridge up and was scooping a spoon of it. He was blowing it a little before taking the spoon closer to Copter's chapped lips.

Copter was watching Tae before taking the spoon of porridge that was hanging in Tae's hand in front of his lips. "Just chew it slowly before swallowing it. Take your time, Cop." Copter was doing exactly what Tae had told him to do. Honestly, he didn't want to make things harder for these two kind-hearted guys, but he wasn't strong enough to fight this, and now his tears had to fall again, making Tae sighing.

"Why are you crying? It wasn't even difficult making this porridge for you. Everything was going to be okay, Cop. You have to believe in it. You are a strong guy, you can do this. You have us, don't think you were not important to us, or that you are a burden to us. You are our brother the moment you step into the cafe years ago, so deal with it."

"Please!" Bas was kneeling in front of Tee when he came to see him at the cafe, and Tee dragged him to talk somewhere else, away from the cafe. Tee was going to leave when Bas requested to see Copter, and no way would he let him. But then when Bas was kneeling, he might have getting soften a little, but he still thinks Copter meeting Bas wasn't a good idea, at all.

Tee: "For what? So that you can crash his heart, again and again, Bas?! You don't have any idea how he was right now, because of you, don't you? Let me tell you then. If not because I was there to find him at his home, he might starve himself to death, and now, he couldn't even eating anything nor drink any water, but to just throw it up later if he was taking any. He was barely talking, the only thing he was better at was crying. And even that was brought him pain. You knew clearly what had happened to him before, and you crushed every little hope he had. Just to decide to be with you was a big decision for him, and that even giving him far worse than those school brats gave him. Because for him, you are his soul mate just to be betrayed. I don't care what reason you have that you had to do this, but all I care about was Copter. If you can't come back to him, then don't show yourself in front of him ever."

Tee was leaving Bas who was still in his kneeling position, but he was already a crying mess, hearing how badly hurt his P'Copter was because of him. He wanted to tell him that his love was never a lie, he wanted to tell him what they have between them was real, but then for what? He couldn't go back to him, nor he could defy his father, for a reason only he knew. He wanted to scream for all this unfairness, yet, he couldn't blame anyone but himself.

Tee wasn't actually blaming Bas, but all he did was to protect Copter. He could see how worse Bas's condition was, and he even wonders does he had someone who really cares for him at his home. Coming from a high-class family himself, he understands the dilemma people like Bas went through. He had friends, who were in the same condition, and even led to suicide. Seriously, he couldn't blame Bas. Blame it on money and power, but humans will never stop fighting for these two elements, no matter what.

That's why he excuse himself from that lifestyle. If not for Tae, he might still compete with his brother for taking over his father's business. But now, he was happy when he had his own business himself, though could never be compared with his father's company, still, he thinks he and Tae did better for their own little business.

Tee actually trusted them both. He knew how much Copter loves Bas, of course, he knew. But then, he could also see how much Bas loves Copter, and they both were actually so in love with each other. He wonders about the real reason Bas couldn't fight for him and Copter. If he really wanted to find any excuse, he would begging Tee and would promise to clear things out just now, but then he didn't.

Tee was sighing thinking about Copter and Bas again. Hope they both can get through this, no matter what the outcome was for them.
