--------STEPHANIE SAT AT THE desk as she let her quilt glide through her parchment paper, she had woken up early to mail her parents their Christmas gift so they could wake up to it. She sealed her letter then got up quietly to go up to the owlery, Stephanie mind was filled with the thought of not spending both Christmas and her birthday without her parents. She had grown used to their absents during the holidays and her birthday, she knew they tried to make her day special even without being there with her. Stephanie finally made it to owlery making her way to her personal owl, she opened her owl's cage letting her grey feathered companion out. Stephanie patted his head before tying around the gifts she bought for her parents, the gifts were light enough for him to take without being in pain.

"Take this home, Calves." She whispered to the owl; the owl nodded before taking off. Stephanie sighed as she looked out the window, watching the snow gracefully fall from the sky. She turned around and made her way back to her dorm, she tried her best to not make any noise as she made her way back up to her room. Once she opened her room's door, she was met with a wide-awake Lily that was already prepared for the day. Stephanie shook her head not faze by her, Marlene and Alice had decided to go home for the holiday. They had given her their gifts for both Christmas and birthday the day they left. Lily turned around from making her bed when she heard Stephanie close the door, her eyes lit up before running towards Stephanie and wrapping her arms around her.

"Happy birthday and happy Christmas." She whispered; Stephanie squeezed her friend just wanting to feel her warmth before feeling her pull away.

"I got you a gift." She turned around and crouched down to reach something under her bed before turning back around with a pouch in her hand and handing it to Stephanie.

Stephanie pulled open the pouch and dig her finger inside the pouch before pulling out a circle shape necklace, the necklace had a circle ring with a pearl ball in the middle. Stephanie's eyes lit up as the necklace twirled, Stephanie looked up at Lily who was waiting for her reaction.

Stephanie smiled before once again engulfing her in a hug, "Thank you so much, Lils." They pulled away as Lily excitedly clapped.

"Can you help me put it on?" Lily nodded; Stephanie turned around before handing her the necklace. She lifted Stephanie's black hair before clipping the necklace, she let down her hair before holding her shoulders to move to their mirror.

Stephanie stood in front of the mirror admiring the gold necklace that hanged above her chest, "It's beautiful, thank you again." She turned around to look at Stephanie.

"It was truly nothing." Lily waved it off before turning around to her drawer before pulling out two Christmas jumpers with a "S" and a "L", Stephanie already knew where they came from.

"She's such a sweet heart, she even sent you some pastries for your birthday." Stephanie gasp before running towards where Mrs. Weasley's pastries were, she opened the box and the aroma of apple-cinnamon filled the room.
