The shopping center was filled with luxurious dresses women of all ages, naturally the dress department is pack with numerous fashion items and well known brands.
I bought a off sleeveless soft blue dress that just ends above my knee and a silver ankle strap heels, each of them ranges from ten thousand or more.
My mother in law was busy trying some jewelry on the other store as I stood there, waiting for her to finish.
"Oh, Caia, you chose too after all it's mother's birthday. We need to look our best for tomorrow's celebration" I nodded at my mother with a gentle smile still attached on my face.
"Here is some of our best sellers, almost all of them compliments your skin tone, it's like it was built just for the two of you" the seller have a glib tounge, I mean all of them would surely do their best and blow rainbow farts to anyone.
"Here" My mother in law handed me a butterfly necklace inlaid with blue jewels and pearls. "You look stunning my dear"
"Thank you Mom" I clasped the necklace in my neck.
An Yi Wei's family has spent lavishly in our wedding and even gave me sumptuous amount of jewelry that is now filled to the brim in my drawer.
Actually, I can live without the fear of losing money or tire myself out working because my husband's family is generous when gifting things.
But that's it, they were only giving me material things to compensate with the loss of affection.
"Aiya, I though you two are sisters, Madam surely are jesting!"
"Hmph, I'll buy all of this, no need to say more" her voice was laced in arrogance but the ight pride in her eyes was clear as day.
"Let's go, we still have an appointment with the spa"

The villa was submerged with merriness, all of the maids and butlers were busy running around the place preparing for the celebration. Countless of preparation was made and the main character was sitting peacefully, her hands stitching a sweater.
"Nai Nai, are you excited for your birthday?" I leaned closer to Nai Nai and a smile bloomed on my face when I saw her stitching is halfway done.
Nai Nai promised to make me a sweater for this winter, she lovingly held my hand that time and caressed my hair.
"Of course, my lovely granddaughter is here" I smiled sweetly and cuddled with her.
Nai Nai is the first person that I truly trust in this world, no matter the circumstances that lies behind her affection for me.
My parents turned their back on me, it was disappointing and made me despair but I understand it now.
They too were disappointed with me, their hearts also bled when they saw me in that circumstance.

A knock came from outside as I stood up and opened the door.
It was An Yi Wei.
He was dressed in a fancy suit, his shoulders were broad and the suit fitted his figure well enough to expose his strength. His legs were long and unlike those slender ones from male idols, his eyes were calm and exudes a mature and restrained aura.
He can hook one's sould just from this sight, but not me, well I did back then.
His beauty is enough to destroy a nation.
I was hooked by the devil and I soon became greedy and longed for it till it became the reason of my destruction.
