It didn't take long for us to reach the address of the cafe that A'liu sent me beforehand. As I step out of the car, I immediately saw a mop of dark hair along with a luxurious clothed girl just outside of the café.
"A'liu!" I trotted towards her, completely forgetting that I still have someone accompanying me.
"Caia! You're finally here!" She stopped and look behind my back and with a sneer, she said. "He's here too, why is he here?"
"A'liu" I felt conflicted since I'm really not sure about his actions and his abrupt differences.
"Is something wrong with me being here Ms. Ru?"
"Yes, it's our girls day so can Mr. An leave so we can proceed with our initial plan?" She said sarcastically, I forgot to tell her that I already told An Yi Wei about her blind date.
I heard An Yi Wei snort and held A'liu's arm, she was about to tackle him down and I know that even with our join forces, we wouldn't be able to move him.
"A'liu! I already told him... I mean... maybe he can help?" I regain my usual dependence and timidity towards An Yi Wei, I'm afraid he'll become more aware of my difference and let the world collapse.
"Help?! Are you serious? How can he help us? You know what he's done-"
"I think you should clean your brain and wash away the dramas and movies you've watched Ms. Ru"
"This bas-"
"Okay, okay! Let's just go in, please" I looked at A'liu with big round eyes, trying to tell her with my eyes about my trust on An Yi Wei.
I may not like him but I do admire his actions and his knowledge. He's a talented man, a cold hearted businessman with his head above his emotions.
"Fine! But I'm forbidding him to talk!" A'liu pointed at An Yi Wei while he just sneered and went in.
He opened the door and look back, his brows were furrowed and as we walk towards his direction, I almost jog just to reach the door.
The clear sounds of bells were heard the moment we enter the room, staffs greeted us with their brightest smile and was even more flabbergasted at us.
Two woman with different personalities and charm and a man with striking appearance, this is unusual in their work experience.
A'liu strutted towards a table where a man with dark glasses and raven like irises arose. His brows were gentle, thin lips spread in a soft smile and as we reached his direction, a mellow smell came out from him.
"Good afternoon Ms. Ru" his voice retain that gentle demeanor from him, his eyes evading A'liu's passionate ones.
"En"
A'liu begun to act, she didn't even greet him and that is a new red flag, I politely nodded at him as well as An Yi Wei.
"My friends are here, you don't mind it do you? Of course you don't, you're a gentleman" she didn't even wait for his reply and already made a decision.
Another red flag.
Zhu Rong Heng was a bit flustered and blinked away the surprise in his eyes before the table regain it's silence.
It didn't make me feel awkward since I've been used to silence, An Yi Wei doesn't really care much while I'm still unsure of his actions and Zhu Rong Heng is patient enough to wait for A'liu to start the conversation.
In other words, A'liu was the first one to explode since she's a very extrovert woman and she can't stand the silence.
"I want to order, also, you're the one paying for our orders because you're a gentleman right?"
"Yes, all of you can just choose whatever you like" he smiled with patience, I truly admire him for his forbearance and his gentleness.
But that's what lead many to their doom.
I remember hearing the demise of an ex colleague of his, it was said in the news that he planned to steal the research of Zhu Rong Heng but was immediately sent to the prison. It was surprising when it was him who sent himself to prison, no one knew the reason behind his actions but one thing is for sure.
Zhu Rong Heng is not a gentleman, that's for sure.
