Chapter 12

Here I am, sitting with A'liu in the cafe just a mile away from An Yi Wei's building. A cup of hot chocolate drink was in my hand as I watched A'liu get angry for me.

I would have laughed at her bulging red cheeks and pouting lips- that's her  furious face if it weren't for the fact that I'm being controlled again.

After all it was one of the important scene in this story, the main villainess and her evil best friend would bully  the poor and innocent heroine.

Of course they will not only gather the disgust from the people's eyes but also encountered the wrath of the son of this world.

"You gave him nothing but love and understanding and this is what he's giving back to you?! Shameless! He's a scum!" She even stood in the heat of the moment making the customers look at her in question.

"Sit down A'liu, it's fine-"

"Fine?!" She cried out to me. "It's not fine, his treatment to you isn't fine! It's nowhere that word!"

I know.

It's not fine, but what can I do? If I say it out loud- I can't even say it out loud.

I can't do anything about it, I can only watch myself get pushed into a pit and relieve it all over again.

But for A'liu, I will try, even if I fail, I would still try.

"I'm fine"

She just looked at me in helplessness and anger, I knew that look very much after all she had looked at me with those pair of eyes for all of my lives.

I should've listened to her back then, I should've.

Then I could feel the buzzing in my brain lessened and can move my limbs albeit not too much. I'm free of my shackles but then it was all too late.

She had already stood up and ran towards their direction the moment she saw them together.

My feet shuffled into the cold hard floor and soon I was rushing towards her, my heart started to run the same beat as my erratic steps as I watched her shout at them.

"An Yi Wei! You scum! How could you hurt my friend over and over again and even show with your mistress?! Shameless! You two really are a great pair! A scum and a white lotus, what a pair!"

I can feel the intimidating aura coming off of him, he was like a beast, walking with ease towards it's prey.

"What did you say?" His voice was ice cold and I knew he was angry.

In the corner of my eye, the woman named Shaoyan beside him was shivering in fear, I was like that too.

But not now.

"An Yi Wei"

We all have that one friend who curses the men in our life that hurts us, well, I'm just like that. I would curse at you so that you can be enlightened, hit you so that you can feel the pain and not be numb again and be there for you as always.
