Chapter 48

He pinched the space between his eyes and exhaled a breath, his hands were still fisted as he tried to remain calm.

That woman, what in the world is she thinking? Coming here to make a scene and even injuring one of his employees.

She's the only woman that makes him feel this frustrated yet keeps tolerating her. The only woman in his life besides his family continues to dabble on his life and continues to stay in his sight.

A woman that he both knew and not.

This time, he posted on the company's site and issued a rule that forbids every employee to talk or even give information about their CEO's wife.

It's best to refute those false rumors and prevent the company to give information to the media and worsen it, besides, he already contacted a lawyer to sue those who instigated those rumors.

Not long after, his secretary came and talked about the matter with Shaoyan.

"No need to tell me more, just send her to another branch, give her some benefits and assign her as the team leader"

And then she was kissed.

She woke up, startled at her dream before wiping her sweat. Her dreams are the same but the more she dreams of it, the more she was confused.

It was in the form of memory, her dreams, it started with just the ocean till the scene was added with a new person and then she was kissed.

This never happened to her before, even in her past lives, she never dreams of something like this.

"Caia? Oh, thank goodness you're awake!" I turn my head and saw A'liu, her eyes brimming with concern.

She must have been shocked when she saw me coming here in her apartment, my eyes red-rimmed and my face wan.

"Let's have breakfast?" I saw the relief in her face and stood up to clean my face before coming down.

We ate some porridge along with a meat bun and milk as A'liu continues to say gossip and stories to me.

She's doing this to keep my mind out of the events yesterday and I've never felt so thankful for her.

"How are you and Zhu Rong Heng?"

She was startled at first but begun to talk animatedly about their 'fake' relationship.

"My parents were very satisfied with him, I even thought that Rong Heng was my family's child rather than me. My mother and all of the women in our family were charmed by him! Even my father! My employees were always gushing whenever they see Rong Heng, their eyes were filled with hearts as if Rong Heng is an actor!"

Well, one couldn't be blamed since Zhu Rong Heng is a very handsome lad with a gentle character making everyone feel at ease with him.

"So, are you satisfied with him?" It's what I wanted to ask the most.

Even though Zhu Rong Heng is a black-bellied man, he respects women and is a very responsible guy. It's just a pity that I've never seen him with a woman before.

Much better than the scum that A'liu will end up with.

"He's boring! Too gentlemanly and such a sissy figure! Not my type but..." I raised my brows and looked at her with an inquiry gaze. "But he's gentle and understanding" her voice was soft and coquettish making me smile in secret.

Well, I'll doesn't compliment a guy that much, she never had a boyfriend before because men see her as a very fierce woman.

"That's great, I'm glad that you're in good hands"

"Hey!"

She pouted making me burst into laughter, the earlier mood vanished as we soon talked about our day.
