Chapter 29 - like simba and nala

"Shhh, she'll wake up."

"Shrush, if you make one more noise, I'll kill you."

"I am not making any noise, bro."

My sleep was disturbed by these idiotic girls.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw my three besties decorating my room with balloons and farewell signs.

"Guys, if you wanted to surprise me, couldn't you have done it after an hour or so?" I got up grumpily and started rubbing my eyes, trying to wake up.

"Well, we were supposed to do it quietly," Rhea said.

"Anyways—surprise!" Anu shouted, and the other two girls joined her, which turned into an irritating chorus.

I covered my ears—

then looked up...

and laughed at their expressions.

They all had bunny faces.

This is my favorite face. Like, smile? Nopeeee. Bunny face? Helll yehh.

I opened my arms out for them, and they jumped on me.

"Owwww, Shrush, get off me!"

We all started laughing, and I grabbed a pillow and hit Anu with it.

"You did not just hit me with a pillow," Anu said, standing up and grabbing another pillow.

Then she came forward to slap me with it—but I ducked down, and the pillow made contact with Rhea's face instead.

"Oh no..."

Anu dropped the pillow and was about to run when Rhea pulled her down and tackled her to the floor.

And then—

there was a full-blown mini catfight, which definitely woke me up.

"Bro, if only I had my coffee in my hand right now, this would hands down be my best morning," I told Shrush while those two were still fighting.

Shrush laughed at me, and we continued enjoying the show.

Rhea and Anu were literally rolling on the ground. They were playing Simba and Nala from The Lion King—where the last one to pin and sit on the other person wins.
