Chapter 26 - Arranged Marriage?

I was stepping downstairs when I saw Aahan, dad and mom whispering about something.
"Why are you guys whispering?" I ask them.
"Nothing we were just waiting for you. Let's go" my dad started walking towards the garage. I looked at mom and she was smiling like a kid in a candy shop.
"What's happening mom?" I ask her.
"Nothing beta I am just very very happy today" she patted on my back and went behind dad.
I just shrugged it off and followed them out to the garage.
Mom and dad were taking their own car and Aahan came with me in my car.
I connected my phone to Bluetooth and kept my playlist on shuffle. I started the car and followed dad's car because I didn't know the way to Agastya's house.
"So what were you guys talking about?" I asked Aahan.
"They didn't know how to tell you that you are adopted and your birth parents wanna meet you" he said.
"You's the ares the mentally's the sicks the bros" I used our language. It's actually very easy we put the in front of every word and s in the end.
"You's the shut's the ups" he replied back.
I know I am not gonna get any information from him so I let it go and increased the volume of the song.
My dad took a left towards the Malabar hills( which FYI is one of the posh area in Mumbai)
I followed him to a mansion. I mean I don't know how to describe it. It was simply mesmerising and white. There were huge pillars and a fountain in the entrance.
I parked the car next to dad's car and got out. Aahan already abandoned me and went inside.
I looked around for my mom and dad but they disappeared automatically. Looks like I am on my own today. But it felt strange because they have never done this before. We always stick around east other in the parties.
