Aahana pov-

Upon reaching the 18th floor, a woman approached me and escorted me to the conference room. She then introduced me to Mr. Rohit Joshi, the CEO of J's Company Limited.

Mr. Joshi was a pleasant man, though, not to be judgmental, he didn't look very Indian. He appeared more American or English. Regardless, he had a nice aura about him. We had a brief professional conversation where I explained that I was the proxy for Mrs. Krishna and assured him that I had reviewed the documents related to the meeting. He responded warmly, "I don't doubt your ability, Miss Shah. I am sure you are the best at what you do, or else Mrs. Krishna wouldn't have sent you. Your law firm and I go way back, and I trust you all with my business. Please, have a seat. The meeting will commence in a few minutes."

I nodded and took my seat. A few minutes later, as the meeting was about to start, a young man barged in and took a place next to Mr. Joshi. And damn, was he hot. He also looked like a foreigner, and in his formal suit, he resembled a Greek god. His sharp jawline and handsome face made me stare at him shamelessly.

Suddenly, I heard someone clear their throat, and I realized everyone was looking at me. A blush crept up my cheeks, and I felt incredibly embarrassed. "Way to be professional, Aahana," I thought to myself. I cleared my throat, picked up my dignity, and began giving my legal advice in the most professional manner. All the while, I felt someone staring at me. I ignored it and continued explaining the legal aspects of the deal and what would be the best option for their situation.

After an hour or so, the meeting ended. I went to shake hands with Mr. Joshi, who was standing next to the dreamy guy. "I must say, you did an excellent job. I wasn't even considering the aspects you mentioned. I think you did better than Mrs. Kapoor. Don't tell her that, though," Mr. Joshi said with an amused smile.

Again, I felt someone staring at me, but I ignored it and replied to Mr. Joshi with a formal thank you. He gave me an honest smile, and without looking at the young man, I excused myself and made my way out. I speed-walked to my car and quickly headed home.

During the one-hour journey, I played my playlist and reflected on my day, mainly that embarrassing moment and Mr. X. He was the hottest guy I had ever laid eyes on, even compared to hot Instagram guys and Nick Bateman. I thought of telling my friends about him, but without a picture or information, I decided to stalk him first and then share the embarrassing incident with my girls.
