Chapter 8- flirting

Aahana pov:
I entered the building and went straight towards the lift, as I knew the way to the conference room.
I knocked at the door and got in. I saw Mr. Joshi talking with some group of men, and on the other side Agastya for talking to a girl.
Then as soon as he saw me he said something to the girl and started walking towards me.
I don't know why but I felt shy and nervous.
He was in front of me in no time.
"Hii honey" he said greeting me.
I glared at him. And took a quick look around me to see if anyone heard what he said, luckily no one did.
"Are you mad or what, someone could've heard you. And I am here as your lawyer. Be all formal with me" I said
"Ohh is that so miss Shah?" He asked while raising his eyebrow.
"Yes Mr. Joshi" I replied back.
"Hello Aahana, how are you child, it's good to see you back" Mr. Joshi let his hand out in order for me to shake it, I shook his hand back firmly.
"Its good to be back" I said with a smile.
"Anyways let's commence the meeting now" Mr. Joshi declared and everyone started taking their seats.
I took my seat and Agastya started the meeting.
He briefed us about the situation and the confidence and authority in his speech was commendable, this made me attract towards him more.
I couldn't help but stare at him, but unlike last time I didn't wanted to be embarrassed anymore so I quickly got back from Agastya land.
Then I spoke up and made some suggestions on the current situation and put forward a settlement draft which had good negotiations, which will benefit both the parties.
"I think I agree with Aahana, so it's done we will settle with vikas moters." Mr. Joshi said and everyone nodded. After which we discussed a few more factors of the settlement and then the meeting ended.
Mr.joshi came upto me after the meeting.
"Good work Aahana, I like your confidence and law skills, therefore I would want you to present the settlement document to the other party next week." He said
"Sure sir will do" I replied
He smiled at me and excused himself.
As soon as he left I heard someone clear his throat.
I followed the sound and saw Agastya standing there with his arms crossed.
"Ready for the date miss shah?" He asked me
"Apparently yes." I replied back shyly.
He then took my hand and dragged me to some other cabin.
As we entered the cabin I knew it was his cabin as it was big, with a skyline view of the city mumbai. It was gorgeous and also it smelled like him.
He then took a bag from the couch and then gave it to me.
"Wear this for the date and I'll pick you up at 7 from your house" he said.
I smiled at his nice gesture and nodded at him.
And then I turned around to leave but he took my hand and pulled me towards him.
I had to steady myself in order to not collide with him.
"You are looking beautiful today and I am sooo happy to take you out tonight" he said in a soft voice.
"I am looking forward to it . And also you look okaiesh I guess" I replied back sarcastically.
But the fact is that he is looking drooling hot in that suit.
"Ohh please you were drooling over me" he said with a smirk.
"You wish Mr. Agastya Joshi" I replied back and then again turned around to leave but he pulled me towards him again.
I then looked up to see him smiling down at me.
"You know na in order to meet for the date I have to leave now?" I asked him.
"Well someone's eager for the date" he teased me and a blush immediately formed on my cheeks.
"That I am, I haven't kissed anyone in months" I said with a straight face and looked up to see a shocked Agastya.
And taking the advantage of the situation I took off from his office and speed walked towards the lift. Because I didn't wanted to be unprofessional.
The lift arrived and I pressed the ground floor.
And as the lift was closing I saw a smiling Agastya standing on the other side.
I showed my tongue to him and the door closed.
Suddenly realising my words. The blush reappears on my cheek and I scold myself for saying it out loud.
What if he takes it in a wrong way and what if he thinks I am too desperate?
All these questions where clouding my head while driving back home.
After an torturous hour I reach home and directly went up to my room, but, not before shouting 'I am home'.
I quickly took a shower and afterwards moisturised my skin. Then wrapping a bathrobe around me I reached out to the dress which was in a box.
As soon as I open the box I was mesmerised.

It was a beautiful maroon gown, and it fits perfectly to my body, just like a glove.
As the dress itself had an elite and classy look, I wished not to do a cake face(extra makeup) so I just applied a liner, mascara, blush and I opted for matte dark maroon lipstick.
And I completed my look with maroon heels.
I clicked a few mirror pictures and selfies and then I went downstairs.
My mom was sitting on the couch and as she heard my heels clicking the marble stairs. She immediately looked up and smiled at me.
"You look beautiful my baby.
I wonder why don't you have a boyfriend I mean look at you, are boys out there blind or what" she said as she stood up and hugged me.
"There are not blind mom I am a rejector, I reject everyone" I said.
"Mom can you click a few pictures please" I gave her my phone and she started clicking photos and I started posing in each and every corner of the living room.
Then me and mom started short listing the good photos when my phone went off.
And it was Agastya.
My mom looked at me with a questioning look. I picked up the phone and said I'll come out .
Then I turned towards my mom who was still waiting for my answer
"Okay fine, I am going out on a date with him and you caught me but please don't make it a big deal and don't tell anyone about this maa." My mom stood up and started jumping up and down
"Finally my baby is dating someone and she'll get married soon. You and Agastya are very good looking humans and your kids will be damn hot" my mom started rambling and this was the reason I didn't say anything to her earlier.
"Mom see this is the reason I didn't tell you and for your kind information I am not dating him yet, I am going on a date with him" I said and then stood up to leave.
"Whatever, have fun and don't get pregnant today" she shouted and I rushed outside blushing profusely.
Why is my mom like this . I think to myself.
Then I went out and saw a Bugatti waiting.
Immediately Agastya stepped out of the drivers seat and came towards me.
He was looking smoking hot in his black leather jacket.

I was shamelessly checking him out but so was he. His mouth was open and his eyes were roaming all over my body. I was satisfied with his reaction
I closed his mouth.
"I saw a fly going inside your mouth" I stated
His cheeks goes red immediately and looked down
Then he took my hand and said
"You look extremely beautiful Aahana" he was looking straight into my eyes and I saw sincerity and love in them.
"Thank you for this beautiful dress and the compliment. Also you look good too" I replied back shyly.
"That I always do. You just noticed it today" he replied back smugly.
"You are full of yourself" I shook my head.
Then he kept his hand on the back of my waist and guided me to the car.
He opened the door for me and helped me with the dress then he closed the door, he went around the car and got in.
"Let's start this date" he announced and started speeding down the road.
And damn does he look hot 🥵 that sharp jawline and that angelic face, was making my heart beats crazy.
