• The Fall of the Poker King
•Racetrack Higgins (1992 version) feat. Kid Blink
•1899
•Race stands undefeated at Poker...til he meets you...3rd person
"Heya, Race! Ova' hea'!" Kid Blink called, "I found someone ta play poka' with ya!" He beckoned his constantly gambling friend over. Race was undoubtedly the best poker player of the 'Hattan newsboys, and better than most, if not all, of the Brooklyn boys. And we all know how much Race loves to gamble, which lead to the current situation the boys found themselves in. Blink had bet Race a whole quarter that he could find someone better than Race at poker. Of course being the gambling addict he was, Race instantly accepted. So now, the two boys were at Medda's, trying to find someone who could beat Racetrack. The boy in question walked over to his one-eyed friend. There, sitting at the table, was a (h/c) haired girl.
"A goil?! Ya think a goil can beat me?! I'm offended," Race teased.
"Ah, jus' sit down an' play," Blink groaned. The girl called a few of her friends over and they all began to play. Eventually, it was just the girl and Race. When the round was ovet, she revealed a five-of-a-kind spades. Race had a crappy hand throughout the game, but he was still shocked. Not only had he lost, he'd lost to a girl!
"Not what ya expected from a girl, eh?" she asked, as Race handed Blink a quarter, "People 'round here know me as Queenie, but you can call me (Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N)..."Whoo, okay! First one down! How was it? I know it wasn't really romantic, but I thought it might be fun. It was semi-edited, so I hope it was okay. Please leave requests in the comments! Thanks!!!! ~Mystery♡
