I looked down at the blood stained razor in my hand. My wrist stung from the fresh cuts. I knew I shouldn't cut. I promised (Y/n) I wouldn't. I'd be strong for her. Yet, I couldn't help it. The thought that I was failing my wonderful girlfriend and breaking the vow I'd made, only drove me to cut deeper. Tears streamed down my face. I should just end it all now. (Y/n) deserves so much better than me. I stood and went over to my closet. I had rope in there. I'd put it away when I was determined to recover, but now, I'm too broken. Just then, I heard the front door open. (Y/n) was home. I frantically looked around for bandages. I couldn't let (Y/n) know how damaged I was. "Skits!" She called, "Could you help me with the groceries?"
"Yeah, be right there!" I called.I wrapped the bandages around my arm and wiped the tears off my face. Then I hurried out to help (Y/n) with the groceries. I tried to hide my arm, but nothing escaped (Y/n)'s eagle eyes.
"What's that?" She asked, suspiciously.
"Cat scratches," I quickly said.
"We don't own a cat."
"I went over to, uh, Mush and Blink's apartment and played with their new cat," I lied.
"Isn't Blink allergic? And Mush never told me they got a cat," (Y/n) replied. It was time to come clean I guess...
"I-I was cutting again," I admitted. (Y/n) dropped her bag full of groceries and hurried over to me. "I'm sorry. I failed at fighting. I-I know I promised n-not to do it again, but I couldn't. I-I-I couldn't," I began sobbing again.
"You didn't fail," (Y/n) murmured, wiping the tears off my face, "You are strong. So, so strong. And I love you very very very much. Never forget that." She gently kissed my cheek.
"I love you too. Thank you for being here for me," I told her.
"Of course! You are such an amazing person," she gazed into my eyes.
"You're the best girlfriend ever," I whispered.
