the gates fell open. she entered the castle and was met by a long, dusty hallway.
it looks like no one has lived here for years..
she gagged at the foul smell of flesh and blood. "this is scary.." whispered the girl. her footsteps echoed throughout the hallway. the smell of flesh and blood came closer. she hated it. "who's there?" a voice echoed. the girl stumbled and gulped harshly.
"i can hear your footsteps. who's there?" the voice asked again. silence. "i guess i'll have to find out myself." it said. she widened her eyes and shivered. there was a figure seen from afar. it was speeding towards her.
it got closer and eventually reached her. he put his hand against her throat, pressing harshly and pinned her against the wall. "who are you?!" he growls. "g-gwan.. a-ahnjong.." she coughed out. he let go and widens his eyes.
she fell to the floor and coughed harshly as tears formed in her eyes. "aren't you the girl that everyone hates?" he asks. ahnjong looked up at him and gulped. "yes. that's me." she replied. "what are you doing here?!" he questioned.
"i ran away from home, seeking for shelter but got lost in the forest. then i found this castle...i needed to seek for shelter." she answered. "interesting." he smirks. "introduce yourself to me at least. i don't want to go around calling you no name." ahnjong hollered.
"jay. park jay." the lights revealed his figure and face. "i shouldn't be here, right?" she croaked as she was still sitting on the floor. "yes. it's dangerous for you to be here ahnjong. i'm not the only one living here." he crouches down to her level and sighs.
"i don't want to be here. but i have nowhere else to go." she whispered. "i guess we have a guest then. follow me." he chuckles and stands up. the girl sat still on the floor, not moving an inch. "do you want me to do it?" he threatens. ahnjong didn't stand up. she stayed down.
jay crouched down again, holding a cloth in his hands. holding the back of her head and closed her mouth with the cloth quickly. ahnjong felt dizzy but didn't want to pass out. yet, she lost.
「JAY」
she was passed out in my arms, i quickly piggybacked her and let her rest on my back. "sunghoon! jake!" i called. they ran over to me in an instant and saw an unknown person on my back. "ugh, smells like a human. do you think sunoo will be able to hold back?" jake gagged at the smell.
"let's hope he does." i answered. "grab her bags and carry them into the spare room." they followed my command and took the bags, carrying them into an unknown room. i carried her into the room and chained her onto the bed, scared of her harming anyone in this castle.
someone entered the room soon after i've chained her. "who's this?" heeseung asks. "gwan ahnjong." i answered. "isn't she supposed to be in her abusive household or something? why is she here." he grumbled. "she ran away and found our castle in the forest."
"seems like an interesting story." the elder chuckles. "it sure seems like it." i cackled.
「AHNJONG」
i heard two voices speaking to each other, but my eyes were closed and i couldn't figure out who.
"who's this?"
"gwan ahnjong."
"isn't she supposed to live in her abusive household or something? why is she here."
wake up ahnjong. wake up!
my eyes wouldn't open. i panicked and started twisting and turning but something chained me against the soft material. "woah there." said jay before pouring cold water onto my face. i shot my eyes open and looked at an unfamiliar face.
"w-why am i tied to a bed?" i gulped harshly. "we're scared that you, might harm us. it's difficult to gain trust from people like you." jay explained. "w-who's that?" i looked at the person standing next to him.
"lee heeseung. i've heard a lot about you, ahnjong." he smiled. "i want to be untied. please get these off of me!" i shouted. "shh, quiet ahnjong. you'll disturb jungwons sleep and he'll get hella angry if you do." jay shushed. "unchain me!" i glared. "we can't do that." heeseung sighs.
"why not?" "we can't trust you around here yet." jay implied. "fine then, i guess i'll pee on this bed then." i smirked. "you could have just said so god damn it!" jay undid the chains and set me free.
"where's the bathroom?" i asked. "first door to your left. you better be back in here once you're done." the boy warned. it sent shivers down my spine. i nodded slowly and walked out of the room and let their heads follow my each step.
after i've reached the bathroom, i walked back into the room. but this time, there was another person in there. "glad you made your way back ahnjong." jay smirked. i looked into the unknown persons eyes. but then i looked down, feeling my face heat up.
"get over here." jay commanded. i sighed and walked on over to the bed. jay started chaining me up again, leaving my helpless body on the mattress. "meet niki." the boy smiled at me and waved. i nodded as i couldn't wave back. "introduce yourself to her properly idiot." jay complained.
"i'm nishimura riki." he says. his korean pronounciation is poor. judging by his name and pronounciation he must be a foreigner. jay cackled slightly. i tilted my head and looked at him weirdly. "nothing." jay smiled. "i can call you niki, right?"
he nodded softly and gave a warm smile. THATS SO CUTE. jay snorted and laughed. "jay, are you okay?" "o-oh sorry i just thought of something funny hah." he sheepishly smiled. i chuckled and looked back at niki. "niki," i called. he perked his head up.
"judging by your name, you're japanese right?" i asked. he nodded again. "he doesn't talk much. don't mind it." heeseung assures. i nod and smile at niki. he turned his head away and covered his face with his arms.
let's hope i'll survive in here...
