"oh no, don't worry." niki assured. "i just, zoned out?"

"alright, it happens." she chuckled, causing him to laugh along with her.

"i.. i mean, we actually know who killed parts of your family.." niki scratched his nape.

"really? who?" the girl sat up properly and listened attentively to what niki had to say next.

a long sigh escaped his lips, before speaking in their link.

"should i tell her?" he asked.

"tell her what?" sunghoon questioned back.

"that we killed her family..?"

"niki are you out of your mind?! of course we shouldn't! she'd hate us for all of her life!" jungwon replied.

"she doesn't care anyways!"

"then tell me why i could hear that she's worrying about them? don't tell her!" sunoo barged in.

"exactly, she could be caring for them deep down but doesn't realize it herself." heeseung spoke.

"if you say so."

niki faced the girl and opened his mouth to speak. but cut himself off.

"nevermind, i don't remember.."

ahnjong looked with a frown and stared at her lap, playing with her fingers.

"if i know them, i'll tell you." niki smiled at the girl, standing up and leaving the room without another word.

ahnjong watched as he left the room.

"strange.." she muttered, "whatever, everyone's forgetful ahnjong. just because they're not human doesn't mean they aren't."

after convincing herself, she exited her room and entered the living room.

there sat the other 7 boys, niki being squashed in between jungwon and heeseung, being teased nonstop.

"hey guys!" she called, making them look at her. "let's play something!"

"truth or dare?" jay suggested, all of them nodded.

ahnjong sat down with them, waiting for someone to volunteer to ask first.

"let me go first!" sunoo smiled. "niki! truth or dare?"

niki perked his head up before speaking, "huh? oh, truth."

"do you like someone?" he smirked.

niki was stunned by the question.

"no.." he answered.
