A Letter

Let me tell you a story

Of the words, I had woven inside

A letter to him sealed in wax

And enveloped in cracks of time.

My desires and dreams

Every syllable was alive

With a request so simple and naïve

I hope he breathes them to life.

Wish he kisses me goodbye

Before breaking open my curtains

To brand new daylight.

The flame in my hearth

Should resonate its fire

For as long as eternity lasts

And our eyes aren't tired.

A request so simple

He only has to stay

And carry me away

From my house to someplace

Farthest along

The roads filled with noise

To fields of lilies and a home

Close to the heavens of joy.
