Love...

Love, you're addicting

Warmth in winter

That fondles my heart.

A poetry of blood

Inked in history's

Greatest regrets

All I could do

Was stare from afar.

A whiff of your existence

My soul calms its cries

For your love, alas! I am

Addicted to the path

Of your breath from your toes

To your lips that just part

Enough to let my lungs

Survive till you start

Averting your gaze

From undeserving men

Why won't you, Love, let

Your eyes meet mine

And land on my face .

My exhausting patience

Wears off as you stay

Light years away

While I disintegrate

Every being in our way.
