Chapter 7

"Explain what?" she was already blushing furiously so she knew what I was talking about. I linked my arm through hers and we began to slowly walk back into the hospital.

"Well for starters. I saw you checking out his buns girl!" we both laughed, which only an hour ago, wouldn't have been possible.

"Okay, okay I like him okay? He's gorgeous! And he likes to dye his hair! Much like myself!" She gestured to her currently bright red mop of hair. "I love the galaxy look he has going on with his hair! But I'm sure he wouldn't like me back so-" I cut her off.

"I'll see what I can do. But you can be quite charming on your own. You deserve someone who is going to treat you right. Michael will do that". I saw her eyes cloud with thoughts of the past before she snapped back. It was about time she met a nice boy who wouldn't treat her like shit. Her ex-boyfriend was a complete ass. He had broken her; I had been there to pick up the pieces he had left behind. She was only just beginning to be the person she used to be. Michael deserved someone who would love him back and wouldn't hurt him. I can't give him that. Alicia could. We rounded the corner that led us back to Ash's room and walked in to find all four boys laughing. It was music to my ears. I loved seeing them all getting along and after the hell of a week we had had with Michael and Ashton not talking, this was a welcome sight. They were all so close, a family. Brothers. Michael turned around and threw me a small smile and then his eyes came to lie on Alicia. Slowly his eyes widened. She stared back at him and I slyly unwound my arm from hers and went to stand with Calum and Luke who were engrossed in a conversation with Ashton.

"Guys, look" I whispered nudging them to look at Alicia and Michael. Ashton wound his arm around my waist and we all intently watched the couple. By this point, Alicia was blushing again. I giggled and then cleared my throat.

"Wha-what?" Michael asked. Everyone apart from him and Alicia began to laugh. Alicia flipped is all off before coming to stand by my side.

"You could've made that a little less obvious, bae", I whispered in her ear.

"He looked at me first! What was I supposed to do! His eyes are gorgeous and they just draw me in and oh my god..." she sighed and facepalmed herself. "I really made it obvious didn't I?" She gazed back up at me, knawing on the inside of her cheek. I nodded my head before i looked back at Ash and smiled, glad to see that a little colour was returning to his cheeks. I looked over at Calum and Luke. Calum had his arm slung over Luke's broad shoulders as he sat on his lap.

"So guys, when are you going to reveal your relationship to the fans? You know they already suspect the two of you" Luke sighed and laid his head on Calum's shoulder.

"I don't know. I don't want them to hate against us for being together" Luke stated, burying his head deeper into Calum's neck.

"The fam isn't going to hate against you for being together. #TeamCake remember?" Calum laughed at my comment.

"Yeah, Luke, they're always going to support you. They love us all. I swear we have the best fans ever. If some don't accept it then they aren't true fans. How about when I get out of hospital? We'll tell them over twitter, as a band?" Ash comforted Luke.

"We could always do a twitcam? We haven't done one in a while and it will be a little more personal for us to ACTUALLY tell them instead of over twitter" Michael suggested. Luke and Calum glanced at each other before nodding in agreement.

"Okay. It will be a good thing" Luke said, seemingly speaking to himself.

"Hey Alicia? Can I speak to you in the hall?" Michael asked. She looked baffled and glanced at me as if she wanted advice. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Yeah sure" Michael got up from the chair he was sitting on and walked out of the room with Alicia behind him.
