*Alicia POV*
I thought he couldn't get to me anymore. Proves how wrong I was...
I'd been staying with Lucy for a little over 3 weeks now, helping out with Ash as he was still recovering from the little incident and cleaning the house but I couldn't help but think that I would eventually outstay my welcome no matter now much Lucy told me otherwise. I'd also made the decision to move out of my current home. I didn't want to live there anymore. It didn't feel safe there anymore.
"Do you want me to help you find a place?" Lucy asked me in the kitchen whilst we were eating breakfast, housing brochures spread on the counter in front of us.
"Do you mind? I want to live a little closer to you. I'd feel a lot safter that way" I smiled at her as I took a bite out of my nutella on toast. She returned the smiled and nodded at me.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner? There's a house up for sale at the end of this street. I could call the estate agents and ask for a viewing time?" I nodded my head at her and continued eating my breakfast whilst I browsed the brochures.
"Is anybody home?" Michael stepped into the kitchen and I could hear Calum and Luke faintly behind him. They never came into the kitchen so they must have gone to sit with Ashton in the living room.
"Whatchya doing?" MIchael asked me when I pulled out of his hug.
"I'm looking for a new place to live. I don't want to live back at mine anymore. It doesn't feel like home anymore." He nodded at me knowingly and sat next to me to look at the houses in the books. I had gotten pretty close to Michael these past few weeks, constantly texting and talking on the phone with him when he wasn't here with Ashton. I really liked him. Lucy left the kitchen with her phone pressed against her ear so I gathered she was calling the estate agents.
"So, how's it been living with Lucy?" he asked me before breaking off a bit of my toast and popping it in his mouth.
"It's been good but I feel like I'm outstaying my welcome. I know Lucy would never kick me out of the house, we're like family but this is her and Ash's home. I feel like I'm intruding". I averted my gaze to the toaster in the corner of the kitchen.
"Well, how about you come stay with me until you get a place of your own? I honestly don't mind. It would be good to have someone around apart from myself." He smiled at me.
"I don't know Michael, I don't want to intrude on you either." I bit my lip and looked at my lap. I heard him laugh before a finger lifted my chin up.
"You're not intruding. I've invited you to stay" Michael reassured me. I smiled and him and nodded my head.
"Only until I get a new house though, okay?" he smiled at me and hugged me before agreeing. Lucy wandered back into the kitchen then.
"Okay, we have a viewing time. Tomorrow at 12" she stated. I couldn't help but smile widely. I'm finally getting away from that place filled with nothing but bad memories. I'll be closer to Lucy and Ash, which makes me feel a hell of a lot safer.
"Michael said I can stay at his place with him until I get a house" I told Lucy.
"I don't mind you staying here, you know that". She told me. She had helped me so much these past 3 weeks but I couldn't stay any longer, she needed to help Ash rest and recover and I felt like I was just getting in the way.
"i know you don't mind, you're like my sister. Does Ash mind?" I asked her.
"No me and Ash love having you here. But if you want to go to Michael's I'll support you. You can always come back if you need to." She winked at me. She knew I liked Michael. I smiled at her in return and followed Michael who was leaving to go join the others in the living room. Luke and Calum were laughing at something Ashton had said when we all plopped down on the sofa. It went quiet for a moment before a conversation was started again
"So, guys when do you want to do that twitcam?" Michael asked the guys. Luke and Calum looked worriedly at one another. Ashton patted Calum's arm sypmathetically before doing the same to Luke.
"I'm feeling a lot better so we could do it today? Later on maybe?" Ashton asked. Everyone mumbled replies before agreeing it needed to be done.
"Guys, i'm still really worried that we are gunna get hate" Luke said. I just scoffed before cutting in.
"At the end of the day guys, if they hate against your relationship then they can't be true fans and don't belong in the family. They should support what makes you happy and you make each other happy so that should be that". Everyone stared at me with an awestruck look on their faces.
"Thanks Alicia. That really means a lot. You really are an awesome girl". Calum said before jumping on me and hugging me, Luke following until I was crushed underneath the both of them. Lucy, Ash and Michael laughed. When they finally released me and allowed me to breathe again I answered them.
"It's fine guys. I'm here for any of you if you ever need me" I smiled at them all before I sunk down deeper into the cushions on Lucy and Ash's sofa. Michael hopped over to the cabinet that held the DVDS. He took out Insidious , put it in the DVD player then took his place next to me, resting his arm atop the sofa behind me. Luke closed the curtains and turned off the lights to make it seem more like a cinema. During the movie, I jumped a few times and hid my face in Michael's chest. It was at a particularly freaky part that Michael put his arm around me and snaked his fingers through mine before whispering in my ear.
"I'll keep you safe." I smiled to myself and looked at his face which was illuminated from the light of the T.V. His eyes bored down into mine and our heads slowly began to inch closer. Our lips were nearly touching when someone cleared their throat and the lights were flipped on. Michael quickly moved his head away from mine but didn't untangle our hands.
"Are we interrupting something?" Lucy said to me and winked at me suggestively. I hid my face in Michael's chest blushing as everyone around me began to laugh. I looked up to see the credits rolling on the screen. When everyone's laughter had died down, I rose from the sofa to go get something to drink from the kitchen. When I returned, a laptop was setup on the coffee table and the boys were situating themselves in front of it.
"I guess it's time for the twitcam?" I asked them all and they all nodded at me, Calum and Luke looked wary of what they were about to do. Calum spoke up.
"Yeah, let's do this."
