*some days later*
*Martinus POV*

When I woke up Leah had already left some food next to my bed, she was so nice, she helped me even tho I couldn't give her anything in exchange, she was also so beautiful, so kind, so perfect, okay, I'll say it, I'm falling in love with her but I know that she will never be mine, I mean she is a princess and I'm just a peasant and even if she loved me back we won't be able to be together because of that social status difference, I fell in love with a princess, so stupid for me, there are so many girls and I have to fall in love with the only one I can't be with.

*one hour later*

I heard a knock on the door and then Leah opened it, behind her the doctor came in "hey, the doctor is here to check you leg" she said and he came towards me "does it hurt?" He asked pressing my leg a bit with his hand "yes" I said, it really hurt, not as much as before but it hurts "does anything else hurt? Your head or your stomach?" He asked "no" I said "okay, it looks your leg is healing, so you can start trying to walk but don't force ir too much, go little by little, it will take you some time till you can walk again without help" he said "okay, thank you" I said and the doctor left

"Well, do you want to try to walk?" Leah asked "yes, I will try" I said, I sat on the edge of the bed "wait, i'll help you" she said and she helped to stand up "does it hurt too much?" She asked she she saw me closing my eyes and bitting my lip to not scream in pain "it hurts pretty much" I said "do you want to lay down again?" She asked caring "no, i'll try to walk a bit" I said "okay, take my hands, I will help you" she said "thanks" I said taking her hands, I started walking and I groaned in pain in the second step "you sure you want to do this?" She asked "yes" I said as I kept walking, it hurt like hell but I wanted to be able to walk as soon as possible, after a really long time we arrive to the door of the room, which wasn't that far away "I think you should go back to bed, you already forced your leg too much" she said "you are right" I said and slowly and painfully walked back to the bed, she helped me to lay down again, I was tired and my leg hurt a lot, Leah, who sat down on the bed to help me to lay down, standed up but she step on her dress and fell on me "omg, I'm sorry, did I hurt you" she said nervously "you didn't hurt me don't worry, are you okay?" I said "yes" she said, as I helped her to sit down. Then her eyes met mine and we stayed looking at each others eyes, I was so lost in that eye contact that I didn't noticed how we were getting closer and closer till our lips met, we kissed, I was kissing her, it was the best feeling, her soft lips against mine, we broke the kiss some seconds later, her checks were red and I guess mine were red too "my lady?" A woman said and we looked at her "Mar! for how long have you been there?" Leah asked "enough time" she said "don't say a word about what you just saw" she said "but, my lady..." Mar started saying but Leah cutted her "Mar, I'm not asking you for that as the princess, I'm asking as a friend, so please, don't say anything, you know how fast rumors spread around the palace, and if my father knows...he will kill me, he will kill both of us" she said "I won't say anything, I promise" Mar said "thank you Mar, why were you here by the way?" She asked "I was just worried about you, I had't see you since breakfast" she said "you can leave" Leah said "as you wish my lady" she said

"Well, that was a bit awkward" i said "yeah, it was" she said looking at me and my eyes met hers again "may we do it again now that nobody will interrupt us?" I asked shyly "yes" she said and our lips met again, we make out for a while, we broke the kiss when we felt we needed air "I think I'm in love with you" I said "you think or you know" she said and kissed me again "I know" I said between kisses "I love you too" she said "but our love is impossible" I said "who said that?" She asked "you are the princess and I'm just a peasant, and you said it, if your father knows he will kill us" i said "let's make it a secret then, you don't say anything about us and I don't say anything, we will see each other in secret" she said "I like the idea" I say and we kissed again "the only person who knows is Mar but we can trust her she is my maid and my best friend, maybe she can help us" she said and we kissed again.
