Regina's Palace

You have two days left
are you ready to help me?
The clock is ticking
~The Dark Princess

Regina placed the note in front of Emma. "This showed up on my bedside table this morning. I woke up and it wasn't there, then when I came back from the bathroom, it was just there with a raven feather falling onto the paper." Emma frowned at the note. "That's menacing, but we can deal with it later. How's the cure going?" Regina sighed. "It's going alright." "But?" Killian asked, rubbing Emma's shoulders. "But we are still missing one ingredient that I've never heard of before." "What is it?" Emma asked, eager to not be stone anymore. "It's called Overlook Root and it says that it used to be found everywhere, but no one knows where it can be found now, if it can be found." Regina said, reading from her spell book. "Overlook Root?" Snow asked. "Yeah, my mother used to tell me tales of such a thing, how it had magical properties that could reverse anything." she said. Killian looked at Snow. "That's exactly what we need!" he cried. Emma's eyes flicked to him. "I know, Killian, but Regina said that it hasn't been seen in years." "Then can't we find a replacement?" Killian asked. "No." Regina replied. "Even if we could use the water of Lake Nostos or the water from the well here in Storybrooke, it has to be Overlook Root, or it could make the effects of Miss Swan-Jones's curse even worse." Snow clutched David's hand. "How much worse could it get?" she asked. "I don't know, maybe it could turn her into an ice sculpture rather than a stone sculpture, and then Emma would melt." Emma's eyes widened. "Let's not do that. As much as I want to kill Zelena sometimes, that's not the way to do it." Regina laughed. "Anyway, let's get back to reading, we should be able to find something." she said. "Sorry, we can't" Killian said, helping Emma up. "We're spending some more time with Violet-Marie, maybe jogging her memory, or getting her to believe a little more." Emma continued. "That's a good idea." Snow responded, glad her daughter was getting some more interaction with others, before she was completely stone. After the two had left, thanks to Regina's magic, David turned to the others. "Let's keep working. We have to help everyone who's turning to stone." "I agree." Gideon said from a corner. "Let's get to work."

The Swan-Jones House

"Violet-Marie!" Killian called when they got back to their house. "Here!" Violet-Marie said, running down the stairs. "Wait for me!" Hope called, following her. "What are we doing?" Hope asked, hugging her parents. "Uhm, how about we go for ice cream?" Emma suggested. "Really?" Violet-Marie asked. "Yeah! Of course!" Emma replied. "Are you sure? That seems an awful lot like a family thing to do." Violet-Marie continued, wringing her hands. Killian came forward and put his hands on her shoulders, at the same time Hope hugged her from behind. "You are part of our family now." Emma said. "You belong here." Violet-Marie smiled shyly. "Thanks." she stuttered.

The Swan-Jones family, and Violet-Marie, went for a short sail after getting ice cream. During the sailing trip, Violet-Marie slipped away from the others. She walked down and took a small vial out of her pocket. This is the cure to Emma'ss curse. she thought. Then she looked around, and on Killian and Emma's bed in the Captain's cabin, she found two of their hairs and mixed them together. The Twin Hairs of True Love. she thought, then added them to the vial. Violet-Marie looked around and bit her lip. "Two days." she said aloud. "Two days until what?" Hope asked, coming down from behind her. "Oh! Nothing!" Violet-Marie said, quickly hiding the vial. "Just something on my schedule." she continued. "Oh, I was just wondering if you knew anything about my mom. That's supposed to be when Regina receives more information about the cure." Violet-Marie nodded. "I see." she responded. The two girls went back upstairs to enjoy a long sail.
After they got home, Violet-Marie ran upstairs and called Micah. "Micah, I don't know what to do!" She said when he picked up. "They are being so nice to me!! Way nicer than my mother. I don't want to do this to them!!" Micah sighed on the other side. "I don't know, Vi. I don't know" Violet-Marie hung up and started sobbing. "What am I going to to?"

Ta da? Soooo this was kinda filler, but I was eager to get things going. Just you wait to see what happens tomorrow!! ;)
