Storybrooke
The mood in the air was somber. Yesterday afternoon, Regina had called a town meeting and announced what was happening in two days. Now everyone knew about the cursed members of their small town, they knew why the other realms were no longer joined to them, and they knew their next threat. Regina and Snow had set up areas around the town that all members of Storybrooke could come and talk. They could ask questions and see what was happening. Killian and David had forced Emma and Zelena to stay together in the Swan-Jones house. Violet-Marie, Micah, and Sera? Well, they were planning their great revenge. Or rather, Violet-Marie's great revenge.
Granny's
"Why are we doing this again?" Micah asked. "We shouldn't be brewing the cure. Especially if your mother told us not to." Violet-Marie sighed. "I know, but if it goes wrong, we need to have the cure." she turned to Sera. "Have you started on that sword?" she asked. Sera held up a sword with a ruby hilt. "Yeah, it's going pretty well. But are you sure?" Violet-Marie nodded again. "This has to be the sword I use to kill them." Dawn and Evelyn walked into the room. "Remind me again why your mother wants to kill Snow White and Prince Charming?" Violet-Marie turned to them. "It's a long story, but sure."
The Forgotten Realms, a long time ago
When the Blue Faerie lefft a baby on the shores of the Center Kingdom in the Forgotten Realms, she never expected her to grow up to be the queen, or a killer. The baby's name was Aimee, specifically requested by her mother. Aimee grew up with a hard life, for a child. She was scorned for not having parents, and when she became pregnant with a girl, she was scorned for not saying who the father was. The truth was, Aimee was ashamed. When her daughter was born, she moved to the outskirts of Meridian Village for her daughter to grow up, and to have her father in her life. When her daughter, young Violet-Marie Hunter, was two (2) years old, a new thing washed up on the shores. Aimee was the one to find it. It was a vial of red liquid. It was a potion of some sort, but Aimee didn't know what the potion would do. So one day, after Violet-Marie had gone to bed, Aimee drank the potion. Violet-Marie's father had to stand by, helpless, as his wife's dark and light sides were split in two. This new version of Aimee was to be called The Black Queen. The Black Queen banished Aimee and her husband, somewhere. No one knows. The Black Queen then went up to young, innocent, Violet-Marie, and erased all of her good memories of her mother and father. "You will be dark, darker than me, you will be the darkest in all of the realms." she whispered.
Four years later, The Black Queen, although she was still known as Aimee, caught word of a contest. It was a blood test issued by the Lord and Lady of the Center Kingdom. They could not produce an heir, and they were getting old. So they wanted to have a test for all members of the Center Kingdom to see who could be of a royal line. Any royal line in all of the realms. Aimee wanted to do this. Her parents had abandoned her and sent her to the Forgotten Realms, because they didn't want her. So she went and took the test. She was the only one in the entire kingdom who passed. She had royal blood, which meant her daughter did too. This was beneficial to the kingdom because she had an heir, and Aimee was qualified to rule, although some still resented her, because they believed she had stolen the crown.
One day while Aimee was going through the records, she found her blood sample, and the blood sample of all the royal lines, so she thought it was a good idea to see which one she was descended from. She spent all day in the lab underneath the Center Castle, and at the end of the day, she found out her parents were none other than the honorable Snow White and Prince Charming. Over the next few years, she learned all that she could about her parents. She learned that they had another daughter, one they sent away as well, she learned that they had been cursed to another land, one without magic. Through all of the time that Emma, her sister, was playing "Savior" she was researching. And due to the difference in how time moves, Emma soon passed her in age. During these long years, Aimee neglected her daughter, causing her to grow hard and cold towards anyone. But the rare times that Aimee did spend with her daughter, she was grooming Violet-Marie to be The Dark Princess and one day kill her parents in revenge.
Granny's, present day
"So you see," Violet-Marie finished. "That's why my mother wants me to kill Snow and Charming." Micah and Sera shook their heads. "We've heard this any times, and during the times where Queen Aimee didn't spend time with her, we were there." Violet-Marie smiled at them. "Yeah, these guys were there to help me through it all." Dawn and Evelyn smiled. "And now you are so close to your goal, you will finally be rid of Snow White and Prince Charming, for good." Dawn said. "And then, maybe your mother will finally pay attention to you." Evelyn said. "Maybe." Violet-Marie said, wistfully. "But anyway." She continued, snapping out of it. "I have to get going. My aunt and her family want to 'spend time with me'. I don't know what that means, but I'm dreading it." Violet-Marie said, rushing out the door. "I'll see you tomorrow." she said.
The Swan-Jones House
Violet-Marie opened the door, tip toeing into the house. "Violet-Marie!" Hope cried, running up to her and hugging her. "Hey!" Violet-Marie said, embracing her. "Don't go in the living room." Hope warned. "My parents are in there talking about tomorrow, when they expect the sickness to completely take over." Violet-Marie nodded. "Got it." she said. But then Emma and Killian came out of the room. "Good to see you, Violet-Marie!" Emma said, smiling weakly. "Now we have everyone here. It's time for family game night!" Killian smiled. "Hope, do you want to get the games?" Hope nodded vigorously. "Yeah!" she cried running into the living room. She turned back. "Coming Violet-Marie?" she asked. Violet-Marie's eyes widened. "Are you sure?" she asked. Hope nodded. "We meant what we said yesterday." Emma said behind her. "You are a member of this family whether you like it or not." Violet-Marie smiled. "You really mean that?" she asked. "Yes." Killian replied. "So are you coming or not?" Hope asked anxiously from the door. "I'm coming." Violet-Marie replied smiling. "Although, if we play any word game, I'm going to beat you." "I doubt it!" Hope replied, smiling. Killian smiled at Emma when he saw her smiling. "See, Swan? It's going to be fine." he said. Emma smiled a little wider. "Yeah. Everything will be fine."
