Granny's
When Emma got back to the group, David was on the phone. "Alright, thanks." he said. "Who was that?" Emma asked, sitting down. "That was the hospital, they need you, Regina, Gideon and Zelena to go down there and see what is wrong with Archie." "Why us?" Zelena asked. "It is apparently a magic issue. He's fine physically and mentally, but he's slowly turning to stone." David explained. "Kind of like August is wood?" Regina asked. "No, because August was still able to move. Archie's leg is partially stone and he can't move it or feel it." "Like he's paralyzed." Emma muttered, looking away. "Love?" Killian asked. "What's wrong?" "Nothing." she replied, shaking her head, quickly. Killian gave her a look that said Two words: OPEN BOOK but Emma ignored it. "Let's go." She said, getting up. "Alright." Gideon said. "I just need to go to my father's shop for some materials, is that alright, Emma? Emma?" he asked again. He looked up, but Emma had already left. "What's her problem?" Regina asked. "I have no idea." Killian said. "But I'm going to find out."
The Hospital
When everyone else had finally caught up with Emma, they all entered the hospital together. "Thank goodness you're here." one of the faeries said. "He's getting worse." Regina noticed that Emma lightly touched her stomach when the faerie said that. Emma looked up, saw Regina's gaze and quickly removed her hand. The faerie led the group down the hall. "Hello." Archie said when he saw them. "I would stand to greet you, but I can't feel the bottom half of my leg." "How did this happen?" Gideon asked. "May I?" Zelena asked, pointing to Archie's leg. "Sure." he responded. Zelena's hands lit up a familiar green colour and she waved them over his leg. "Wow, okay." she said when she removed her hands. "Good news or bad news." she asked. "Uh, bad?" Archie asked. "Okay, so in a few days you will be completely solid stone. Good news is that you won't feel the pain." Everyone stared at Zelena. "Really?" Regina asked. "Uh, yeah, what was I supposed to say?" Gideon waved his hands over Archie's leg, his hands glowing a light red. "I'm sorry, Archie. Based on what I can see, I don't think anyone can help you, if we don't find a cure, or a reverse spell, you are going to stay stone forever. I'm so sorry."
The Forest
Violet-Marie was walking around the forest trying to cool off from the whole "Hope Fiasco" when her phone rang. "Hello?" she asked. "Oh, yeah, hey. It's me. What?! Why?! I know you have experience with poison, but you have to agree that one was pretty good! No! I'm not poisoning anyone else as of right now!" she yelled into her phone. "But you are, little one." a voice said behind her. Violet-Marie spun around. "Oh hello, Dawn, hello Evelyn." "Hello sweetie." Dawn said. "Why are you here?" Violet-Marie asked. "Oh, because you are going soft." Evelyn replied. "I'm not going soft, Evelyn." Violet-Marie snapped. "Oh yeah?" Dawn said. "Shut it, lamb." Violet-Marie snapped. "It's because of my mother that you are not still ROTTING IN ZOOTOPIA PRISON. And Evelyn, dear, it's my mother's doing that you are still not at the mercy of the New Urbem prison as well." "Be quiet!" Dawn said. "The savior and the cricket are both poisoned, who's next." "Honestly, I don't know why my mother sent you here." Violet-Marie said with a sigh. "Who's next?!" Evelyn asked. "You'll see." Violet-Marie said with a smirk. "The 'heroes' will be finding out soon." With that, Violet-Marie used her magic and vanished in a poof of smoke.
Regina's Castle
Regina was pacing the floor of her castle with Emma watching nearby. "Regina, stop. If you keep pacing, you are going to wear a hole in the ground." "Mmiss Swan-Jones" Regina said. "You would be pacing too if one of your subjects was turning to stone!" Regina noticed that Emma touched her stomach again when she said that. "Do you have something to tell me?" Regina asked. "What do you mean?" Emma said, quickly. Too quickly. "You keep touching your stomach whenever I mention our newest crisis." Emma sighed. "Fine, but can you keep a secret? Unlike my mother?" she asked. "Yes." Regina replied. Emma walked towards her and pulled off her shirt. Regina gasped at what she saw. From Emma's waistline all the way to just under her bra was completely stone. "You too?" Regina said. "I'm afraid so." Emma replied. "I'm so sorry. How long do you have?" Emma sighed again. "A few weeks at most." she replied. "Have you told Killian?" "Of course not." "You have to." Emma sighed again. At this point, Regina wanted to pinch her nose every time she sighed. "I don't want to. I don't want him to worry. Especially if," she paused to take a breath as tears were forming in her eyes. "I turn into a stone statue, forever." "It won't come to that." Regina said. But as they watched, the stone spread to Emma's shoulder. "Your Highness!" Leroy yelled from the hallway. "Hide!" Regina hissed. Emma held up her hand and turned invisible. "Zelena passed out. She's going stone too." Regina stared at Leroy as and invisible Emma covered her mouth, or tried to, because she suddenly couldn't feel, or move her arm.
So that's who Violet-Marie was talking too!! (honestly I didn't know that myself. I tried to decide between Evelyn and Dawn, buuuuuuuut as you can see/read, choosing one didn't work out....) Anyway! Here is another chapter! I don't know what to think about this actually :P If you can't tell (I sure hope you can) Dawn is Former Mayor Dawn Bellweather from Zootopia and Evelyn is Evelyn Deavor from Incredibles 2.
Loves,
