The Swan-Jones House

"Oh, Swan." Killian whispered, holding Emma's hand. After they had brought her home, he had layed her in their bed, waiting for her to wake up. Every time he left, he put a note explaining where he was going next to their bed, so in case she woke up, she wouldn't worry. "Please wake up, your parents only have a little time left, and I miss you. Hope misses you. If she looses her grandparents, I don't know what to do. I can't do this without you." Killian placed a kiss on Emma's hand, gently laying it on her chest. He left the room, looking back and sighing.

Killian walked down the stairs to the living room where everyone was waiting for him. "How's Mom?" Hope asked. Killian ran his hand through his hair. "Still sleeping." he responded. "Can I see her?" Snow asked. "Of course." Killian responded. While Snow was upstairs, visiting her daughter, the others were beginning to take action. "Okay, what do we know about your mother?" Gideon asked Violet-Marie. "Well, she won't stop at anything to get what she wants. She will break down walls, literally, to reach her goal." Violet-Marie muttered, making her way to a corner of the room. "What type of weapons do you think we would need?" Zelena asked. "Well, she has magic, and she knows how to use it. She was the one who separated the kingdoms without a second thought, and she was also the one who erased everyone's memories that we were ever one kingdom." Violet-Marie responded, sinking to the floor. Snow came back down the stairs, sighing. "Then I guess we will need everything." she said. Regina nodded and waved her hand, sweeping everyone in the room to the weapons room in her palace.

Regina's Palace

"Alright." she said. "Grab your weapons, and someone should gather the town and tell them to stay away from the docks at midnight, although it will be interesting to see who is awake at that time. Everyone nodded and got to work. Soon, they were all ready to go. "Are you sure you don't need a little extra help?" a sleepy voice asked from the doorway. Killian gasped and turned around, sweeping the newcomer up in his arms. "Emma!" he cried. Emma laughed hugged her parents and Hope. "So, what did I miss?" she asked. "A lot." Violet-Marie said. "Wait a minute, Sera, you should make note of that. She was sleeping for eighteen (18) hours. We can use that in the future." Sera smiled and remembered. Micah looked at his watch. "Uh guys? We only have four (4) hours left." Emma looked confused. "Until what?" she asked, frowning. "Until my mother comes to kill your parents." Violet-Marie said, hurrying out of the room. Emma pointed at Violet-Marie, frowning. "What's up with her." Micah and Sera looked at each other. "We got it." they said in unison, hurrying after Violet-Marie.

The Gardens

Sera and Micah found Violet-Marie in the gardens overlooking the water. "The realms are all back together." she said when she heard the others approach. "Yeah, but how are you?" Micah asked. "This is all my fault." Violet-Marie responded, sinking to the ground and covering her face with her hands. "This is not your fault, you were pushed into it." Sera said, kneeling down next to her. "You could've never known that any of this would happen." "But I should've!" Violet-Marie said. Micah placed his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry." he said. "They're heroes, they'll figure it out." "I sure hope so." Violet-Marie responded. "They will." Sera said, hugging her. "There you three are!" Hope called from the doorway. "We're meeting everyone at the docks, you coming?" Violet-Marie stood up, followed by Sera and Micah. "Yeah, we're coming."

The Storybrooke Docks, 11:45 pm

"Is this everyone?" Regina asked, looking for some order in the crowd. "Daddy!" Lucy yelled, running through the crowd into (older) Henry's arms. "Lucy!" he cried. Emma hooked her arm around Killian's, waiting at the ready. "Okay." Regina said. "We have about fifteen minutes left before Violet-Marie's mother shows up." Snow and David went around the group of heroes, making sure everyone was ready for a fight. Violet-Marie looked at her watch, counting down.

"Well, isn't this a happy sight?" a voice said from the water. "Oh come now child, come greet your mother." the figure said. Violet-Marie sighed and walked up. She curtsied and lowered her gaze. "Hello Mother." She said softly. Aimee Hunter stepped out of the water, completely dry. "May I ask," Violet-Marie started. "Why the docks. You know my feelings on water." Aimee smiled. "Remember, darkness, the best way to face your fear, is to literally face it." she said. "Now, where are my parents?" Aimee asked, frowning. Snow and David stepped foreword bravely. "We are, apparently." Snow said. "Ah, so, I must ask, do you care for your subjects? Do you care for this town?" Aimee asked. Snow and David looked at each other. "Yes, we do care for this town." David said. "This town has our family and friends in it." Snow added. Aimee pretended to look surprised. "So, would you make the hard decision to protect them?" she asked. Violet-Marie ran up to her mother. "No, you can't be thinking that. You can't do that to them. You can't make them choose!" she cried. "Oh little one, this isn't just a punishment for them! It's also for you. You said you would be able to do it, but you weren't, so now you are going to pay." Violet-Marie stumbled back, her eyes wide. "Yes we would make a hard decision." Snow said, looking at Violet-Marie. "Oh good!" Aimee replies. "Then we can get started."

Aimee waved her hand and suddenly, everyone, including the rest of the town was stranded on four different wood platforms above the ocean. Snow and David on one, Violet-Marie on another, Aimee on the highest one, and the entire town on the final platform. "You said you could make the hard decision!" Aimee yelled from her platform. "Now, let's see if you can do it! You can either save the town and your kingdom, or my disgrace of a daughter!" Aimee laughed at the expressions on Snow and David's faces. "Oh, and there's a catch, whoever you don't choose, falls into the ocean. Good luck!"
