Chapter 3: Scorpion is born

Y/n POV

I was wearing my suit except the mask. We were at my place and my mom was out for an Audition, Simon was on the computer working on the transfer of evidence and the calling card of sorts. I said, "The unveiling in in 30 minutes, you almost done?"

Simon: just finished, start it when the unveiling starts right?

"Yep be sure to use the voice filters when showing the evidence to the city. By the way this will also be your debut as my oracle. So you need name."

Simon: I think I have one, how about Anansi. You know after the African myth spider trickster.

"Sounds great. Now time for me to go and make our debut. Also thanks for hiding the one about my dad."

Simon: don't mention it, now go. Let's put dear old dad in his place.

I put on my mask and swung to Knox Tech and on the screen on the side of the building the public unveiling started.

Knox: hello Manhattan. You know me as Robert Knox and I am here to unveil the next super soldier serum.

Knox's cam began to shrink and was replaced with that of a spider logo.

In a heavily distorted voice Anansi said, "my name is Anansi and I am the partner of the man that's known as Spider-Man. Robert Knox is corrupt."

I looked around and saw that every screen in Manhattan was like this.

As he talked evidence of these events were shown on screen.

Anansi: Knox has contributed to the surge in crime in the city, these include the increase of drug dealings, bank robberies, and the increasing tensions between Maggia families. All of these were orchestrated by his boss who we call Kingpin. He is responsible for the deaths of Lawyer Richard Grey, P.I. Wayne Furnell, Police Chief Drake Thomson, and many others.

The more he talked Knox was panicking in the commenter corner he was forced into.

Anansi: not only that, but the super soldier serum wasn't made for the military, but for him so he could kill Spider-Man. The serum itself is seriously rushed as well and if he wanted to test it on someone they would either die or mutate into something not human.

The police finally arrived at the building of Knox tech and Anansi signed out. Who knew playing Persona 5 together would come in handy soon.

I swung to the side of the building and ran up the building and crashed through a window.

I was met with a series of armed guards.

"So I guessed right good to know."

I ripped the guns out of their hands and threw them back at them, knocking them out.

I grabbed one and activated my accelerated vision to find Knox using Infa-red.

I got to the room and heard Knox trying to defend himself. I threw the guard through the door and said, "Knox we need to talk about your security despite your name you building's security is not like Fort Knox's."

Knox: Who the hell are you?!

"I'll give you a hint, you killed my father."
