-day 7 of training camp

y/n  was enjoying her sleep until she was woken up by nishinoya and tanaka running around like naruto characters

it took her a few moments to realize that she wasn't in her room anymore. she rubbed her eyes then opened kageyama's phone.

but there wasn't a note? that was the first.

she checked the date and then it hit her. the festival at home is tomorrow.

'great just great' she thought rubbing her forehead.

"hey bakageyama are you feeling better?"

y/n looked up to see hinata with his hair down.

"i-uh yea thanks for asking hinat... boke" she said catching her mistake

"okay that's good because i need ur cool sets! you know the ones that go WHOOOSH and then stop and then-"

he probably continued for a few more minutes but y/n wasn't paying attention she was too busy thinking of kageyama.

what's been going on, why didn't he leave a note?

after hinata's little rant the team made themselves to the dining hall.

right as y/n walked into the dining hall she spotted ema and waved. ema waved back and was going to walk over but konoha asked her for help.

ema looked back at y/n and gave an apologetic look and left to help.

y/n then found herself at the karasuno table and sat down beside hinata.

"jeez kageyama, you need to ask her out already man" tanaka said, while noya nodded

y/n chocked on her food a little bit.

"yeah, i have to admit it you two would be really cute" sugawara added from the other side of the table

"h-huh what do you mean ema and me just f-friends," y/n said drinking water

"well yesterday it didn't seem like it"

"yesterday?"

"yeah when you two had that chat underneath the tree"

then it hit y/n like a bus, she thought she connected the dots.

'the reason he didn't write me a note was that he fell in love with ema'

oh boy was she wrong.

yet y/n put on a bittersweet smile and nodded. that's all she could do.

just nod and smile because once again,

she just wasn't enough

kageyama woke up at 6:35 am in y/n's body.

he was changing when he realized he forgot to write a note to y/n.

"SHIT" he whispers screamed while he tugged at his hair, but calmed down when he realized he's in your body which means he can just apologize and put it on y/n desk.

'hey i'm sorry i forgot to write you a note something was on my mind' kageyama wrote

'i love you' He added but crossed it out and put it on y/n's desk.

then he headed off to school, when he closed the door a gust of wind pushed the note of the desk. but he was in a rush a didn't notice.

once he got to school two groups of people came up to him.

the first time was when he got to the door a group of people was asking him for the student council statistics. then the second time was the yearbook committee asking him for photos of the sports team.

then after those two groups came more people.

"hey y/n remember we have a student council meeting at 3:30!" a japanese, energetic, pink-haired girl said before skipping away

"hey y/n remember you have to take the piano and violinist photos at 4:45! don't be late!" another one said.

they kept on coming until the school bell rang.

at lunch kageyama found elia and erica but before he could sit with them he was pulled away to help some teachers.

then after school he went to the student council, then went to take the photos which looked lopsided, then went to take the swimming team, basketball team, and soccer teams photos.

by the end of the day he was exhausted

'how did you do this every day?' he thought while sitting on the bed.

he thought about it for a little bit and blushed

"I'm utterly in love with you y/n" he mumbled
