-day 4 of training camp

it's been three days since the two switched. ever since then the karasuno team kept making fun of him for supposedly simping for ema. though he truly liked y/n. kageyama was honestly worried because they haven't switched in a while.

today Kageyama was on his way to ask akaashi to teach him more about setting and new strategies but on the way he saw a vending machine with milk inside and stopped. 

while he was getting his milk. he started thinking about y/n and what was happening in her life when he last switched. 

all he could remember was that there was something to do with a festival. 

his milk dropped from the vending machine and he took a sip while still thinking about her.

when he got to the gym ema saw him with the almost empty milk and sprinted over.

"kageyama please don't tell me you got that milk from the vending machine by the dorms." She said looking up at him

"y-yeah i did"

"shit" she took the milk from his had and threw it out.

kageyama's jaw was on the ground

"hah?"

"kageyama that vending machine hasn't been restocked since last year!! DID YOU NOT READ THE SIGN??" 

kageyama thought for a hard moment and realized there was a sign.

"w-whoops" 

ema hit him on the head and grabbed his hand.

some of the boys noticed and started to cooing at them and one of them was pissed.

after going to the nurse ema basically chucked kageyama into his room and scolded him.

let's just say kageyama will always read the signs of vending machines now. 

once He laid down a big wave of drowsiness hit him and with that he was fast asleep.

when kageyama woke up he definitely was not at training camp anymore, he looked around and he was surprised.

"why is your room so messy boke"

he got up and started cleaning. when he was almost done someone knocked on the door. It was y/n's mom.

"hey- nice to see you're feeling better." 

"uh thanks?" kageyama said confused.

"... okaaayy so your grandma is taking you and emily to this docs place she keeps talking about." 

"oh okay sounds good" kageyama said 

after y/n's mom left he started looking for clothes but realized they were mostly dirty.

"what's been going on with you" he mumbled finding a casual dress and white t-shirt to put underneath.

when he got downstairs he saw a small girl who looks very similar to y/n. just miniature.

"oh that must be emily" he thought. 

"a sibling? no she doesn't have any.. OHH A COUSIN" he said a little too loud.

"honey are you ok?" y/n's mom asked

"yep don't worry about me" he said giving a thumbs up.

"jeez it's like every time i visit you get weirder" emily said snickering. 

kageyama smiled and nudged her slightly then greeted y/n's grandma.

"here we are" y/n's grandma said

"woah" kageyama said looking around. 

they were currently on a doc near y/n's house. it was already sunset and the water reflecting the pretty hues of pink from the sky. 

"hey grandma what was that legend about this place?" 

"oh yes the legend of a wish. it was said that if you were to make a wish when the sky turns pink it would come true. but you would have to give up the thing you love most." y/n's grandma explained.

"SO ARE YOU SAYING IF I WISHED FOR MORE CHOCOLATE I WOULD HAVE TO GIVE UP CHOCOLATE" emily said terrified.

y/n's grandma started to laugh and looked to kageyama who was still star struck by the sunset.

there were two thing on his mind. 

one being that the sunset is stunning. 

two being the thought of the two of you here together.

while they left he saw a sign that said amano Village. 

"y/n lives in amano village" kageyama said shocked

"yes and emily NEEDS to go home or else she's gonna PISS everywhere"
