As Olivia went to the bed that night, she couldn't help but think about her meeting with Danny. She had assumed all the time that Danny went back to DelBer with her parents but apparently not. He stuck through to search for her.

"I was going to ask you the same. Where have you been, Livy? I have looked all over for you." Danny urged Olivia. She led her ex- fiancé to a place away from the prying eyes of the werewolves on guard.

"Where are we going, Livy? What's wrong? Tell me." Danny continued.

"What do you want me to tell, Danny?" Said an exasperated woman who did not know how to explain the man of the creatures he didn't know existed. Would he even believe her?

"Everything. Tell me everything." Danny never understood why Mr. Dunk never went on a search for her daughter. After their reluctance to help a wounded Olivia, he had set out alone to help her. But by the time he arrived to the place described by her cousin, Becca, Olivia was nowhere to be found. He went back home that night, but only to stay behind and continue the search for his fiancé.

Olivia shared her side of the story to him. She told him about the kidnapping, abandonment by her family and the wedding. She also told him about the werewolves pact and the war that had come.

"Oh Livy, if only I hadn't left house, I would have met you in Old Creek. But I was so worried with each passing day. I couldn't stay there anymore. I had to look for you." Said Danny. "I am also surprised that your father knew this all along and never informed us of it. I would have found you sooner if he had helped."

Olivia was surprised at how easily he had taken in all the information without disregarding it as myth or fictional something.

"No, Danny. You don't understand what you are dealing with. Father did what he thought was best for all. I have seen what they are capable of. It's a loosing war."

"I do actually, Livy. I have encountered these creatures of forest in my search and I have lost my sister Anna to it." Danny broke down as he mentioned his sister.

Livy comforted the anguished Danny and asked him about Anna.

"It's my fault. It's completely my fault. I should have never let her leave Old Creek alone. My dear sister thought only the best for me and came to Old Creek to look for me on hearing about the news of your disappearance. She urged me again and again to come with her to DelBer, but I was blind with the pursuit. I sent her back alone. I came here as soon as I heard of the girls getting kidnapped on the way. I have been looking for her but she is nowhere to be found. I am scared, Livy. I am scared I might have lost her too." Danny legs gave away as he kneeled down on the ground crying.

Olivia's heart sank at the sight of a strong man crying. It was an unusual sight. But the honest truth behind making her feel miserable was her guilt. Danny was blaming himself for his sister's kidnapping but it in truth, it was her fault that such sorrowful event had taken in his life. If only she wasn't kidnapped, Danny wouldn't go looking out for her, and Anna would be safe. She was to be blamed for all the unfortunate events.

She found her eyes wet as she bent next to Danny. She took hold of his hands in her's as she tried to sooth him.

After wallowing in their sorrows together, she found her courage to say, "Don't worry about your sister, do you hear me? I promise you I will bring back Anna." Olivia knew the werewolves wouldn't kill the females so easily. She knew exactly what they had planned for the girls. And she knew where to find them- Old Creek. Her only worry though was the condition Anna must be in. She had to be quick in her search, before any harm befalls Anna.

Olivia and Danny parted ways with promise to meet each other very soon.
