Olivia found herself on the bed again. She felt exhaustion making her stomach grumble. With sun setting down, the room grew darker, making it difficult to find her way around the room. She needed to eat something.

Just when she rummaged through the room in search of edibles, the door opened with Rei holding warm meal.
"You must be hungry. Here, eat this." Offered Rei.

Her guarded mind told her against it. He could have poisoned it for all she knew. So, Olivia put her strong front, "I am not hungry."

Growl...The stomach growled. Her stomach proved to be an organ of selfish nature, having no thoughts for the situation the owner was in.

Rei looked at her. "I insist. Eat your food and I will tell you everything you need to know."

"I want to know everything..." With that Livy dug her hands on the food. The bliss! When was the last time she ate? She wondered.

"How long have I been here?" She started with her questions.

"It's been two days since that day." replied Rei.

"Two..two days?!" The food choked her.
Rei immediately assisted her with water.

Olivia's eyes got teary, but her tears weren't from choking on her food. Her parents must have thought of worst. Two days are long.

"Why am I here? Why did you kidnapped me?"

Rei sighed. "Trust me when I say, I never wanted to do this. But it had to be done. If I hadn't done it, this situation would have been way worst than this. I couldn't allow that to happen to you"

"What do you mean?" She felt nervous.

Rei walked to chair and made himself comfortable on it.

"Livy, this is a fight that have been dragged on for years. The fight between humans and werewolves started when humans started feeling threatened by werewolves' existence. There were killings in masses. Many werewolves lost their mates in the war. The werewolves don't breed easily. With the numbers declining every year, werewolves resorted to kidnapping female humans to breed our kind. This only made things worst. Ever since, prices have been paid on either side."

"Why me though?" cried Olivia.

"The fight was with your people, Livy. Old Creek being shared ground of both kinds, had seen the worst fights. But many people decided to move away to the cities. Things have been quiet for some years. The Dunks are an old wound though. With the 'Firsts Meet*' of Alphas happening this time, and the news of your arrival, the wound flamed up again."

"What happened was of past. I have done no harm to you or anyone. I didn't even know anything about this. I am innocent. Please, let me go." Begged Olivia.

"I cannot. With the talks in the 'Firsts Meet' the price was of your body for breeding. But, I couldn't, Livy. I saw you and fell in love with you. If you marry me, Alphas could be persuaded to change their decision to keep you as my equal. So, I offer you marriage of respect, Livy. I promise to take good care of you, but I can't let you leave."

"NO. No. Stop it. I don't want to hear it anymore. I don't want to marry you. I don't want to stay here. Let me go. I beg of you." Cried Olivia. She couldn't bear the thought of living in this place, or a life with a werewolf.

Olivia's cries weakened Rei's resolve. He couldn't leave Olivia to the fate of a breeder, nor could he allow another fight to begin. It was best if humans never found out about it.

Rei stood up and left the room, without a glance back.

It was late at night, when Rei came back to room again. He found Olivia asleep on the bed. Rei made himself comfortable on the arm chair. He felt asleep glancing at the sight of sleeping Livy.

Olivia quietly got out of bed. She tip toed her way to the arm chair. With great care, she pulled the key loosely hanging from the Rei's pocket and then made her way to the door.

She then scurried her way to the gate, before Rei could be alerted. She unlocked the door and ran. She was weak but she would stop at no cost.
