You wake up groggily "wha- what-" you mutter "I can't sleep, can we kiss?.." Shiki asks from beside you in bed "mmhm, what? no" you reply.

"Would you still love me if I was a bug?" He asks "yeah, whatever" "what if I had a really big nose? Like huge"

"Big noses are pretty now go back to sleep" you mutter "what if-" your arm shoots out and you start choking him.

"Agh~"

You stare at him blankly and both of your faces get warm "j-just go back to sleep pLeAse" you stutter and roll over.

You then feel soft kisses on the back of your neck "what is it?" You sigh "I really can't sleep" he replies "what, y-you wanna make out or something?" You ask sarcastically.

"Maybe👀😗" he mutters "how did you say that out loud- whatever c'mere" he does so and you kiss him.

You run a hand through his jet black locks and sleepily move your lips against his.

He tries to slip in tongue but you deny it, not wanting to waste anymore energy frenching.

"(Y/n)..." he groans. You pull away, cheeks flushed and lips swollen "now go to sleep" you deadpan.

You look over at a clock and it's 2am, you groan and close your eyes.

"N), (y/n), (y/n)!" You feel like this is deja vu "what Shiki?" you moan "come on get outta bed" he says, pushing on your torso.

You sit up, your vision clearing and you see your himbo looking down at you grinning.

"Wha- why?" You ask "just c'mon, I gotta show you something" he replies.

"You gotta carry me then" you state and he bends over for you you climb on. You do so and he begins walking out of your shared room.

On your way out you see that it's 4am "did you ever get sleep?" You asks "nope" he replies.

You doze off on his back "hey! Don't fall asleep I wanna talk!" He says from infront of you.

"Keep your voice down, everyone else is sleeping, like normal people..." you reply.

You chat all the way to your destination, which is off the Edens Zero "wait where are we going?" You ask, peering over his shoulder "we're on a really wooded planet so I just want to take a walk" he answers.

You, well Shiki walks through the forest with you clinging to his back like a koala.

He stops at a clearing and you get off grabbing his hand as he leads you to the middle of the clearing.

He sits down and pats the spot next to him. You sit "I wanna stargaze with you" he says and lays down, you do the same and begin to stare at the stars together.

"Shiki?"

"Mhmm"

"Why can't you sleep?"

"I've just been... thinking.." he mutters, you lay on your side to look at him properly "bout what?" You reply "it's not that stupid bug shit is it?" You asks again and he chuckles.

"No, I've been thinking about my life on Granbell, about how everyone was pretending that I was fixing them, just to make me happy.." he chokes up, and you adjust yourself again.

You sit up and put his head on your lap, wiping his tears away "my crybaby.." you mutter.

"It's alright, at least you know they didn't deactivate hating you, they loved you until the very end and wanted the best for you" you stroke his warm cheeks.

You lean down and kiss his dry lips "you are loved"
