Hello everybody. Is posting once a day too much? I'm just nervous my ranking will drop (it did by a lot last night, ugh) if I don't update, and that's basically the biggest way people will find my story right now. Let me know if it's too much, though, but this every day uploading only lasts for a couple more days since school is starting up soon.
Anyway, enjoy the part and don't forget to vote!

                              Draco Malfoy
I sat there on the railing at the edge of the balcony. My legs, dangling in the air and my hair blowing in the gentle wind. I looked down at the ground; I was sitting thousands of meters above the green grass. If I jumped, all my suffering would be over.
If I jump, all my misery will be over.
                              Nobody will care.
                              Nobody will miss me.
                              Just one jump Draco.
                              Just a slip.
Just an inch, and you won't have to worry about anything.
No tasks that you don't want to do.
                              No pressure following you everywhere.
                              Maybe it's for the best.
Maybe then everyone can be happy.
                              Including me.
I let the grasp of my hands on the railing free. Inching farther away from the balcony, with only half my weight remaining on the rail.
One more move, Draco, and everything will end.
                              Everything can be over.
As I lean forward, I hear the creaking of the astronomy tower doors opening.
                              Y/N Y/L/N
There he was, sitting on the edge of the balcony staring at the ground. You couldn't help but stare. You wanted to leave so badly, but your legs were locked into place.
"I know it's you, Y/N," Draco says, not turning to look at you.
"How do you know?" You ask cautiously, leaning against the doors.
"I just do." He replies dully.
You remain by the doors, standing uncomfortably, deciding that you shouldn't stay.
"Please, don't leave." Draco requests as you turn your heel.
You turn to look back at Draco, and slowly you take small steps toward him. The echoes of your footsteps hitting the stone balcony as you walk linger in the air. You swing your legs over the balcony and sit next to him. Your heart beats with uneasiness as you are unsure of what Draco; or you will do.
The two of you sat on the railing in silence. Oddly enough, the longer you sat, the more comfortable you felt.
"I shouldn't have said anything." Draco spurts out of nowhere.
You look down at your dangling legs.
                              "Y/N, I," he begins. "I-I'm I'm."
He looks away and runs his fingers through his hair.
"I'm sorry." He lets out in a huff.
At the sound of the words, you look up at Draco, who's looking down at you.
