Three updates in the same day because I've been M.I.A, so enjoy. This is number two out of the three. Not much to say; I made all the announcements in the last post, so chill intro. Just don't forget to vote, please, please, please vote.

Y/N Y/L/N

You wake up to an empty room. You sit up, leaning against your palms, staring at Pansy's striped bed. You fall back down into bed, deciding whether or not to get up. You continue lying on your bed, looking at the ceiling for a good fifteen minutes.

Bored, you get out of bed and to the bathroom brushing your teeth, washing your face, and brushing your hair. You return back to the main room, going to your closet. You pick out grey sweats and a loose Slytherin t-shirt, cropped by your rough-cutting skills. The uneven line barely covers your mid-drift as you pull your hair up in a lazy ponytail. Lastly, you slip on your slippers.

Before leaving your dorm, you glance at the polaroids taped onto the walls.

You yawn your way to the Great Hall, the corridors being empty, having seen only a couple of other students. You sit down at your usual spot at the Slytherin table, only by yourself. The longer you stare at the piles of food, the more; unappetizing they seem. Reluctantly you take a muffin, carefully pulling down the liner before taking bites.

You look around the Great Hall. Only a handful of other people were seated at tables. The table beside yours was empty, and so was the one that was down one more. As you sit, feeling sick from the half-eaten muffin, an owl flies down beside you, a letter attached to its leg.

Anxiously you rip open the letter. Immediately noticing the sender's handwriting, your heart fluttering as you read the paper's contents.

Y/N,

I know I know it hasn't even been a full day, and I'm already writing you. I thought I'd let you know I'm not at The Burrow, so make sure not to address any of your letters there. Unfortunately, I can't tell you where I am. So just write Fred W, and it'll find its way to me.

I miss you a lot, George, has been non-stop pestering me about his interruption. It's bloody annoying. We all miss you a lot, actually, all as in my siblings, Hermione and Harry. If you ever change your mind about coming, I'm sure Mum and Dad can make arrangements. It's not as exciting as I thought it'd be though, we mostly stay inside. It's rather gloomy where I am. Make sure to write me soon!

Fred W.

You beam at the writing, biting back your smile. You throw the muffin aside, running to your dorm to write back.

You throw the letter onto your bed before rushingly sitting down at your desk, pulling out your stationery, quill, and ink.

Fred,

It's awful here. It's so boring and I'm lonely. There's nothing to do, and I miss you so much. There are only a couple of people here, and I don't know anybody. I would love to come, but it seems like too much trouble for your parents. I don't want to just show up unexpectedly. Make sure to tell everybody I say hi. I'll update you if anything happens. Write back, ok? Letters are the most amusing thing right now, so please send me something soon.

Love you,

Y/N

You reread you're writing before sealing it off. On the front of the parchment, you scribble Fred W, just as Fred had asked. You grab your coat, pocketing the letter, slipping out of your slippers and into boots, before heading off to the Owlery.
