"Draco?!" You shout his name as you dodge fallen rubble trying to find him. "Draco where are you???"
As you stop moving for a moment, you spot him walking over the bridge with his parents.
You run up closer to the edge of the bridge, "DRACO!"
Draco stops and turns around, his eyes grow wide at the sight of you.
"Y/N!" He shouts, leaving his mother's side and running towards you.
You jump into his arms once he's close enough, you can smell the smoke that came from fighting in the war from the both of you.
"I wasn't sure- I thought you-" Draco splutters, setting you down and placing his hands on your shoulders, gazing into your eyes.
"I know, I know, but I'm here now," you crack a smile, wiping a fallen tear off your cheek.
"Fuck, Y/N," Draco grins before moving his hands to your cheeks, pulling you in for a kiss.
It was a kiss the two of you had never shared before. It was a kiss you'd look back at and remember until you died. It was a kiss that never stopped making your heartbeat and stomach flutter. It was a kiss that was forever engraved in your hearts.
It was a kiss that you'd never feel again because you'd never go through something so painful, so aching, or so fragile again.
Because this kiss-
This kiss forged what the two of you had forgotten.
