Colours

Sometimes life is dark and gloomy like the colour black,
Rarely turning into a situation that is a bloody red.
But the more vibrant things in life that these colours lack,
Can be found by the other colours you find in your head.

Often life is supposed to be bright and energetic like green,
Along with a springy and bubbly blue.
Life isn't always a straight line and clean,
But emotions keep us together like a glue.

Shiny can be a flinging weapon made of silver,
Or a new piece of jewelry encased in a sheen of Gold.
Wanting you to live through life as a giver.
There are life's values we are expected to uphold.

If only life could be the pure bliss of white,
Or the warm comfortable feeling of brown.
To experience these we have every single right,
But in some cases we have no choice but to drown.

In the darkest times we are a subtle and solid gray,
While in the most passionate we are a vibrant purple.
There are only a few things we even get the chance to say,
Because in the end they don't come back shaped as a circle.
