“Let’s go sightseeing.” Lauren suggested later that weekend.

“Dan offered to take us.” Sam looked up from her cereal.

“No. No boys, just us hanging out.” Lauren pouted. “I want us to hang out just us.”

“Alright, alright, no boys.” Sam rolled her eyes. “I mean, we can get around London by ourselves, right?”

“Not really, but let’s try it.” I grinned.

“We could do a vlog!” Gia jumped off of the couch. “I’m going to go get ready. This is going to be awesome!”

Sam looked at me “Are we really going to get lost?” she asked.

“Maybe? It’s us. In a city. The only reason I don’t get lost going to work every day is because I have the path memorized. The only reason you don’t get lost is because it’s a straight shot down the road. Now we’re going to explore the heart of the city.” I shrugged, gathering up the breakfast dishes.

“But I don’t want to get lost.” Sam complained.

“We’re not going to get lost. We have smart phones.” Lauren reminded us. “What all do we want to do?”

“Not get lost.” Sam muttered.

“Sam.” Lauren glared slightly then turned to me and Jess. “I want to go to the Globe Theatre.”

“I wanna go see the place the people died on the spike.” Jess said quietly, spinning on her bar stool.

“The Tower of London?” Lauren clarified.

“Yeah!” Jess grinned.

“I wanna go to the eye!” Gia called from her room.

Everyone’s eyes settled on me, waiting to know what part of the day I would claim as mine. “It’s a little weird.” I warned them. “I want to go to the Columbia Road Flower Market.”

Lauren scrunched her eyebrows at me. “Out of the whole city of London you want to go to a flower market? We have those in America!”

“Just trust me, alright? My coworkers were talking about it. It’s supposed to be really pretty.”

“We can’t go to all these places in one day.” Sam frowned “And we have other weekends we can explore the city. What are we doing today?”

“The flower market is only open on Sundays, so we should do that today.” I informed them. “You guys decide which thing we’re also doing. I don’t care, it all sounds fun. I’m going to get dressed.” I hopped off my stool and disappeared into my room.

“The eye.” Jess sighed as I reemerged an hour later. “We’re going to the damn eye. I’m going to die. UGHHH.” She slammed her head down onto the counter.

Lauren rolled her eyes “You’re not going to die. It’ll be fun.”

“I’m going to have a panic attack.” Jess complained.

I frowned and rubbed her back reassuringly “If you don’t want to go on it, you don’t have to. We’re not going to make you.”

Jess groaned, turning her head to look at me. “Can we go back to America instead?”

“Uh, no?” I said, glad Lauren hadn’t heard her. “Jess, are you alright? We-“

“Are we ready?” Sam came out of her room, Gia following shortly.

“Yep.” Jess hopped up, leaving before I could ask her any more questions.

I shook my head, making a mental note to talk to Jess later. “Did someone get tickets for the eye?” I asked. “We should do that.”
