“I love the weather in London.” I told Phil as we lay in the grass. We were at the park with the others, but they had wondered off somewhere. Well, technically they had stayed in the same place and we wondered off, but we didn’t want to take the blame. “I’m sad that I’ll have to go back to America in a month and half.”

Phil frowned and turned on his side to face me. “Do you have to?” He asked, his eyes uncharacteristically serious. “Could…couldn’t you stay?”

I sighed and sat up “Well…I applied for a permanent job at BBC as a media producer. If I get it then I would stay, but otherwise I have to go back. I can’t just stay in a strange country because I love the weather and a beautiful boy.”

“Love?” Phil chuckled “Do you love me?” he teased.

“No.” I stuck my tongue out at him. “I love the weather. It was bad phrasing. I’ve decided what I want to do today.” I informed him, heading back towards our group.

“And what’s that?” Phil asked, taking my hand as we walked.

“Shopping.”  I smirked “I need a formal dress for an event BBC is sending me to.”

“Oh, that thing in July?” Phil said “Dan and I are going too. You should be my date.”

I tilted my head as if I had to think about it “I don’t know…I was thinking of taking Dan.”

“Dan?” Phil sounded genuinely shocked “But I thought he and Sam were dating…they just announced it in his live show today.”

He paused as I began cracking up. “Oh! You were joking. Sorry, sometimes I don’t catch your sarcasm with that accent?”

“You are the one with an accent.” I teased him, placing a gentle kiss on his lips.

“No, in this country I am the one with a normal voice. You’re the one who says ‘zeebra’” Phil rolled his eyes.

Gia intercepted us before we could completely rejoin the group. “There’s some fans down there, so unless you want to come out about dating, I suggest you don’t hold hands.”

Phil looked at me for a moment and I shook my head. He nodded and reluctantly let go of me. “Do they want photos then? I’ll go on down.” He continued on.

“Hey…be careful alright? These fans are kind of…off.” Gia warned as we walked. “Seriously, they’re giving me bad vibes the way they keep looking at Sam and Dan.”

“I’m sure we’ll be fine.” I assured her before we reached the group. “Hi, I’m Nikki.” I chirped to the girls.

They stared at me for all of a second before going back to the boys, demanding photos. “Not 4Girls1Camera fans, are they?” I muttered to Sam.

“They’re rude.” Sam huffed “Practically ripped their way between me and Dan before dragging him over there.”

We waited for a good twenty minutes before I finally got sick of just standing and went over to the group.  “Hey, guys, we should get a move on it if we’re going to go shopping still.” I said.

“Right, we should go.” Dan looked overly pleased for an excuse to leave the girls. “Sorry, ladies, we have plans.” He tried to walk off, but the one grabbed his hand.

“Just one more picture!” she giggled, flipping her red curls over her shoulder and dragging Dan and Phil to the side, leaving me awkwardly with the other four girls in her group.

“You Americans are so rude.” One said, popping her gum.

“Excuse me?” I raised an eyebrow. “I don’t think I heard you right.”
