"Oh my god, are you seriously filming this? It's just a party." I teased Gia as she walked into my bathroom that I now shared with Lauren. I was currently applying makeup to finish my look while Lauren was putting some last minute touches on my hair (aka trying to get the one annoying curl to stop flipping the wrong way).
"Yes! I'm vlogging this. I was really sad I didn't vlog our first party in London, so I'm going to vlog our second one!" Gia informed me. "Now, show our fans what you're wearing." She took a step back to get my red skater dress in the shot. "Wait a minute, are you wearing converse?"
"Yeah?" I frowned at her.
"You're wearing a dress!" Gia protested "You have to go put on heels or something."
Sam popped her head in "No, I think she's rocking them. Besides, those are her custom converse. Don't you remember her bragging about how she got to design a pair for her birthday?"
"Best present ever." I grinned, making Gia get a good shot of my black and red converse with skulls on the sides and bottom. "They stopped offering the skull print shortly after I got them, so basically I'm the only one with these babies."
Gia shook her head "I still think you should wear heels, but whatever. And your makeup looks fantastic. Did you do a tutorial for our fans?"
"Uh, not this time. It's a mix of my basic smoky eye and my every day cat eye, of course with signature red lips." I blew a kiss into the camera. "And my hair's been curled by Lauren and then we pinned it back in a waterfall. " I paused "Wait, since when are you into fashion? We don't do outfit of the days or looks or any of this."
"Well now we're going to!" Gia decided, moving onto Lauren.
We arrived at the party a couple of hours later and almost immediately were joined by Dan and Phil. "I was getting afraid we had given you the wrong directions." Dan admitted, kissing Sam hello.
"I like your shoes." Phil said, leaning in to kiss me also and I coughed loudly to stop him. "Are you sick?"
"Camera..." I nodded towards Gia and led him away so we were covered by the crowd standing around and drinking. "God, I've missed you. No going home again, okay?" I kissed him gently.
"It was only three days. Did you miss me that much?" Phil teased "What are you going to do when there's an ocean between us?"
"I don't know, grow gills and become a mermaid?" I joked.
Phil's eyes lit up. "That would be awesome! Then I could tell all my friends that I had a mermaid for a girlfriend and we could have underwater dates and visit Atlantis." I kissed him to shut him up. "Sorry, too much?"
"Maybe just a little." I went to kiss him again, but realized almost everyone was vlogging. "You know, the patio looks free..." I hinted. "How about you go get me a water and then we can catch up?" I pecked him on the cheek and headed out to the patio. I took a seat on a brick wall that blocked out a little grill place in the backyard and watched the party through the glass doors.
Normally I was really into parties, especially when I had my friends by my side. I loved dancing and once I was over my initial shyness I was pretty good at conversations. I didn't really have a desire to be part of this party though. I really only wanted to be with Phil, which logically didn't make sense. We'd only been dating a little over two months. I shouldn't be this obsessed with the boy. It didn't feel like two months though. My whole trip to London honestly felt like a lifetime and Phil and I got along so well it was like we'd been dating years, not months.
"Your water, my lady." Phil interrupted my thoughts and handed me a water bottle. "I had to sell my soul for that water, you know. Everything here is alcoholic." Phil stood in front of me, his hands on either side of my hips as he leaned forward. "Why don't you drink?" he asked curiously. "You've never told me..."
