The Sapphire Winglet's next class was Dragon anatomy, which ended up being pretty amusing. At some point the teacher, a Rainwing named Parrot, unwittingly allowed Mirage to take over. He allowed her to come to  the board with a drawing of a basic dragon form on it to tell the class something. So for the rest of the class she was informing the class on all the parts you can be hit by a Sandwing tail and die or survive to Parrots Horror. His face was horrified, dumbstruck, and helpless and so many more expression the whole class was trying hard no to laugh. When the gong finally rung Parrot look relieved. "That’s all we have time for today class!" Mirage called as Parrot shooed them out the door. Cattail had a feeling she wouldn’t be allowed to talk in that class again for a while. Geography went over pretty well. The Seawing teaching them was named Webs. Delta picked up Geography fast and whispered answers to worksheets to Cattail whenever she got stuck on one. First they labeled a map and then worked on worksheets. The next class was hunting practice. It turned out whoever had hunting practice was partially responsible for the prey at lunch. Dreamspeaker turned out to be a terrible hunter. He ended up with snout full of mud and came storming back to Cattail and her brother Dragonfly. "How can you live in this stuff!?" he said trying to snort mud out of his nose. This made Cattail and Dragonfly laugh and Drought roll his eyes. Surprisingly Chasm was a good land hunter unlike his Topaz Winglet counterpart, Current, who made almost as bad of a fool of herself as Dreamspeaker until everyone tried fishing which Cattail and Dragonfly were surprisingly good at to. Dreamspeaker ended up tripping and falling into the water and dragging Drought in with him. Poinsettia was not happy about being soaked by the splash. Everyone else was laughing so hard they had fallen on the ground. Prim fell out of the sky in laughter. Then Drought pulled himself out of the water and ended up chasing Cattail around good humoredly. Their hunting teacher, another Skywing who was named Jewel, had been amused by the dragonets supposed "Methods of hunting". Lunch was pretty good to until Mirage missed when she threw a fish a Rattlesnake and hit Cattail in the snout. Drought retailed by throwing Prim's mango which got speared on Mirage's horn and splattered Avalanche in the face "Yes two for one! Thanks." Cattail told him and soon a full out food fight occurred between the Sapphire Winglet, half of the Platinum Winglet, and all of Cattails siblings. They spent most of their free period trying to clean the fruit and meat off and get rid of the fish smell. The rest of the time was spent talking and laughing. Sunny taught Botany class. Cattail couldn’t tell the difference between deadly or healing plants unless it was fruit. Prim seemed brilliant at it though. "Honestly, i swear i couldn’t tell the difference between a rose and nightshade if it poisoned me itself" Cattail hissed "Don’t worry you'll get it eventually." comforted Komodo, the Mudwing from the Copper Winglet. She held up a fruit. "Is this a mango or a kiwi?" Cattail wrinkled her snout in amusement "I've never seen a Mudwing who can't identify food. And it’s a Mango, kiwis are a lot smaller." "Thanks" Komodo said relieved. The last class was Cultural studies. Cultural Studies had to have been her favorite of the classes so far. In Cultural Studies they study the habits of each tribe. The teacher, a beautiful Sandwing named Citrine, Asked one of each dragon to stand up and tell something unique about their tribe. Avalanche talked about sib groups, Cattail talked about Bigwings, and Prim talked about how the whole tribe helps in taking care of each dragonet. Every dragon had something about their tribe to tell. It was easy for Cattail to remember and she found it very interesting. After class Prim, Poinsettia, and Cattail were walking back and as they reached the entrance to the dorm Poinsettia stopped and said "I gotta go." "Where are you going in such a rush?" Prim questioned. "Oh nowhere important." "That means it's totally important. Go on. We'll stop questioning. I saw the way you talked to him." Poinsettia looked extremely embarrassed. "Who?" Cattail questioned "Rattlesnake." Prim answered triumphantly. Oh. Cattail couldn’t believe she hadn’t noticed. "Thanks Prim, but neither of you can tell anyone especially not Mirage or by the three moons i will kill you both." "Cross my heart." Prim said making and X over one side of her chest. "Thanks!" Poinsettia said and rushed off. Prim shook her head and they turned back to the cave. But right then a voice called down the tunnel "Hey Cattail!" It was Drought. "Me, Chasm, and Dreamspeaker were wondering if you wanted to go flying with us." Chasm's head suddenly pushed past Drought. "I took no part in this.” he called making her laugh. Drought elbowed him away "So, will you come?" Cattail looked at Prim. "Oh, go on!" Prim said bumping one of Cattails wings with her own. "Three moons, all of my friends are leaving me for boys!" Cattail opened her mouth to defend herself, but Prim laughed and said "I'm only kidding. Seriously though its only once in a lifetime you get to go flying with a cute Sandwing and a cute Nightwing." "Thanks" Cattail said laughing. "I'm coming" she called. Drought smiled and called behind him saying "She's coming." and with that Cattail set off down the maze of tunnels with them.
