It was the final night of Dancemania, A Troupe were dancing despite their guaranteed disqualification, Live as a team, die as a team but always a team.

A Troupe watched as J-Cruise celebrated their win on the stage. They weren't exactly overjoyed that they had prepared for Dancemania for nothing but at least they had nationals to look forward to, right?

It didn't take long at all for the audience to file out of the studio, remaining were just the two teams, Tink, The judges and Nick. They were being good runners up and congratulating J Cruise on their win, That's how the next step works, sometimes you win sometimes you don't. No matter how much sportsmanship you have, no one was ready for what happened next.

The big screen suddenly flashed with electrical sparks, the lights doing the same thing. Stunned dialogue occurred between the dancers as they looked around the now darkened room. A loud bang shook the room as the screen exploded in front of them, ripping everyone from their feet and flying them across the room, flames began to roar and engulf them all.

There was sheer panic erupting through the room, people were screaming and covered in blood. Finn felt himself slowly regain consciousness. There was glass everywhere, he painfully pushed himself up, looking around, his teammates were rushing around, he was bleeding from his arm, it was easily healed, he looked around but there was one person he couldn't see...that person was Piper.

He frantically screamed her name at the top of his lungs, the flames were rising and he couldn't see her. "PIPER!" He cried out desperately, he was losing hope as everyone else was running out of the fire exit, cat, white rabbit, the caterpillar, the red queen. He watched as his teammates rushed out, a mouse not in sight, he began running around through the flames. He couldn't lose her.

Piper coughed and spluttered from her landing place, she was under the seats which had blown apart from the impact, she could faintly see and hear Finn calling out for her and looking for her. She couldn't move, the pain was too much, "Ffinn" she whimpered quietly, it didn't work she was stuck and he couldn't help her. All a sudden a weight fell on top of her causing her to scream at the top of her lungs, the pain was worse than ever before.

Finn heard a scream and turned to look where it was coming from, completely ignoring the flames which were quickly trapping him, he finally caught sight of Piper and ran to her, "Pipes? Piper can you hear me?!" He asked her frantically tapping her shoulder. "Baby...it hurts" was the heart wrenching sob that came back from Piper, "shhh, your gonna be ok! I'm gonna lift this and pull you out ok?" She just trusted him and nodded, absolutely desperate to be free of her pain. After a while he managed to free Piper from under a pole and scooped her into his arms and began running out of the building...

He reached the outside of the studio, where the rest of the team were gathered, there was not a single ambulance in sight, they must of been caught up or something. He went over to his team pleading for help, "Guys! Please she's bleeding she needs help! PLEASE!!" He screamed at them, begging for them to aid her. He lowered them both down to the floor and cradled her in his lap, the troupe surrounded them. Nick was on the phone to the ambulance service, demanding they get there as quick as possible. Amy knelt down next to the pair and ran her hands through pipers hair, as Finn rocked her, Nick gave Finn his jacket which he pressed to Pipers side to try and stop the bleeding but she was bleeding out fast.

"Finley...if I don't make it-" he didn't want to think about that, "shhh Baby your gonna be ok!" He insisted, she shook her head at him, "but if I don't...I want you to know that I want you to move on with your life and don't let me stand in your way" at this point the whole team was crying including the pair of them, "Pipes don't say that!" Amy told her, Piper refused to back down from what she was saying, her skin became paler by the minute, "Baby stop talking! Then I will lose you" he begged her in tears, he couldn't lose her, "I've lost too much", Piper let out a small chuckle, "That's the Finley Matthews I love...the boy who cried when his fish named cardboard box died" Finn smiled through his tears how his girlfriend was making jokes through this situation. "Baby I've only just got you back, I can't lose you!" He retorted, Piper gasped for breath painfully, "Shhh, stay calm Piper" Her bestfriend stepped in to handle the situation as Piper wasn't listening to Finn's pleas, "Amy...I love you too and please...don't forget me, keep your sadness at 0%" Piper stuttered out looking up at her best friend, fond memories of their clique the 0% club running through her head. Amy was crying, "Pipes I'm not gonna forget you because your not going anywhere!" She insisted, Piper looked back at Finn, she had little energy left to talk, "Finley Issac, I love you so much" she used the last of her energy to tell him that, "and I love you!" He told her loudly.

All of a sudden, ambulance sirens echoed in the distance, slowly getting louder and louder. Finn let out a sigh of relief and looked back down to Piper, "Baby, do you hear that? There here!" he looked down and watched her eyelids go droopy and her body went limp in his arms, she was gone. He looked at her and back to the team, "Piper! Baby no! Please don't leave me! Please!" He pleaded lightly shaking her, it was too late, she was in heaven now. "NOOOOOO!!!" Finn let out a heart wrenching scream as he pressed his forehead against hers and cried, he hadn't protected her, and now she was gone. Forever.
