243 days...

Piper Rose Valentino and Finley Issac Matthews, both 16 years old and madly in love, the big twist being that no one knew, well that's a bit of an overstatement, Amy and Henry their best friends knew and so did Finn's family, he blurted it out in excitement cos he had to tell someone. Your probably wondering, Why doesn't the rest of the team or any of Piper's family know? Well there's a few reasons, One: Piper had tried to tell her family but in the hubbub of Aunt Kathy and Arthur's vow renewal, her news had got lost but thinking about it her brother would get way too overprotective so it was better this way for now, the second reason was due to her older brother's band success the press had been all over them and the family, after watching how her sisters boyfriends and Riley was treated was all the more another reason for their relationship to be kept a secret, the team not knowing was just for the pure risk factor, it was more fun that way. They had been keeping this up for 8months, tad excessive but they didn't care, life was good, their relationship was good.

Today was their 8months, they had been dating, mostly secretively for 243 days, a shocker to both of them as it was their first real relationship, they couldn't celebrate properly in a posh restaurant or anything like that because the press would be all over it but Piper had invited Finn over to the house because she was gonna be home alone all day due to her parents helping decorate Uncle Enzo's home, her sisters were out with friends on a weekend trip and James was with the band, recording their new song. Perfect opportunities to get some cuddles in.

Piper made her way down the stairs, the clock had just struck 9am on the fine Saturday morning, the hectic family breakfast was in session, James was whining about how runny his eggs were, Florence and Rosie were practically choking on their cereal as they had to leave in the next 20 minutes for their getaway, Deborah and Lukas were rushing around getting stuff together to leave, Piper just took her porridge and fruit and ate in the the living room, watching Netflix of course, her phone vibrating drew her away from her TV series for a moment, it was a text from her favourite person of course...

F: Happy 8months Baby! 🥰✨ Can I come over and kiss you yet or no? Xx❤️

P: Haha Happy 8months Bubs!❤️ not yet :( I'll text you when they all leave😘

F: But I want cuddlesss :((  but I suppose I can wait❤️ Hey did u know we've been together for 243 days?!

P: 243 days huh, did u google that? 😂 also Ik you want cuddles and you will get them soon enough!❤️

F: Yes, I did Google that and yea I guess I can wait, I love youuu 🥰🥰💕

P: I love you too crazy boy 💕

It didn't take long for the family to leave, Piper was all alone, not for long though. Within ten minutes there was a knock at the door, when it opened it revealed Finn, dressed in black sweats, his top half covered in his signature denim jacket, Piper immediately jumped at him, he caught her and hoisted her up to rest on his hips, her legs wrapped firmly around his waist, their lips connected. Without detaching Finn walked further into the house and pushed the door behind him shut with his foot, carrying Piper up the stairs to her room, practically throwing her onto her large double bed, her in fits of laughter, as she sat up, she was quickly pinned back down again by Finn crawling on top of her and laying his head on her chest, his arms wrapping around her, "You ok bub?" She asked her boyfriend, "I want the cuddles!" "You what?" She teased, "THE CUDDLES!" He said louder, "Ohhh you want cuddles?" She teasingly giggled, running her fingers through his curls, "yeah!" He shouted, snuggling himself further into her, it didn't take long for them to fall asleep like this, in the comfort of each other's arms.

After a while the pair awoke in each others arms, barely moving as Piper pulled up Netflix on her laptop, cuddling all the way a whole series of a tv show, eventually standing up, Finn made his way to his backpack which was originally slung across Pipers room, "Oh yeah Pipes...I bought cookie mix!" Her eyes hardened on the box in his hands, "Get down them stairs now! We are baking those cookies!"   She ran at him, he took the hint and they ran all the way down the stairs to bake said cookies.

After 15 minutes, the vanilla cookie aroma was strong within the air, opening the oven to pull them out, "ow! Ow! Hot! Burny! Ow!" Finn spluttered as he pulled the tray out of the oven and placed it on the hob with a crash, "I just burnt myself" he stated, fanning his hand frantically, "Oh Finn!" She cried out turning on the cold tap and running his hand underneath it, "you're such a clumsy idiot sometimes" she stated in a half irritated/ half playful tone, "Yea but I'm your clumsy idiot" he chuckled and grabbed her from behind and span her around the kitchen, she erupted in fits of laughter, turning her around, his hands naturally came to rest on her waist, he went in for a kiss only to be interrupted by Piper shoving a cookie into his mouth with a smile, after realising what had happened he instantly pulled the cookie from his mouth and pressed a long kiss to her lips, once again hoisting her onto his hips and walking into the lounge area, her hands firmly rested around his neck as he planted himself on the couch, "so 243 days then eh" "yes and did you know that is 5832 hours that we have been dating, I googled that too" he smirked before pulling her once again into a kiss, after a while moving down to her neck and peppering kisses all the way down it, Piper gasping at the sudden affection, "I love you bubs...so much" she told him while he did so, "WHAT THE FU-" a loud voice shouted, only to be interrupted by another.. "What on earth!", the young couple on the couch was startled and jumped back slightly, Piper still sat on Finns lap however this time they were hanging off the couch, they looked to see both of Piper's older sisters staring at them in shock, "I'm not even gonna ask anything but this, How long?!" Florence spat, "243 days..." Piper grinned cheekily, Finn played along, "and did you know that 243 days is 5832 hours which adds up to be 349920 minutes" he smirked, the two older girls faces lit up in fury, oh shit, they were screwed...
