Valentines Day. The day that celebrated romance everywhere. A day Piper never looked forward too in recent years, she would normally spend the day with her sisters or Amy and watch sappy rom coms all day and eat snacks, a galentines day of course. But over the years her sisters got boyfriends and Amy had LaTroy, then they had their last galentines, then Ty came along and now she's got Henry, Amy never made it to valentines with Finn, but Piper has and she doesn't know how to feel about it, she had never been on a Valentine's Day date before. Finn was her first proper boyfriend, they had been dating for just under a year so why was she so nervous when he texted the words, "Hey Baby, Date Tonight? For valentines?❤️" she couldn't help but smile at the text, yes it was her first valentines date but she wasn't the lovey dovey cringey huggy teddy bear date girl, she liked adventures and she hoped Finn remembered that in the excitement of Valentine's Day.
She had chosen to wear a red dress and white trainers, as well as a jacket and a small cross body bag which contained her phone, purse and lip balm, usual necessities she would need normally. The dress and shoes:

"You are not going anywhere wearing that! It's too short, and too revealing and that means it's going to make Finn feel all ooooOoo about you and you know what happens when guys get OooOoo and he's not doing that to my virgin sister" James ranted when he saw Pipers outfit as she came down the stairs, Piper let out a sigh of pure annoyance, "James, before you dated Riley, how many girls did you date slash get into bed with?" Piper raised an eyebrow while asking her smug question, James pulled a look of confusion while whispering the numbers he was counting, "...exactly! You can't remember! But I do because you were always! At it! You dated 24girls and got into bed with at least 15 of those!" She rolled her eyes, a car horn interrupted there conversation, "Oh Finn's here, see you later James!" He chucked, "Yea, Bye Pipesqueak! Have a good time!" She was about to close the door, "Thanks James, enjoy your time with Riley....Oh and James, I'm not your little virgin sister anymore" she smirked, "What the Fu-" she cut him off by slamming the door, she couldn't help but laugh, and it was the truth...
She reached Finn's car which was parked at the front of her house, she opened the passenger door and practically jumped into the car and pecking him on lips, "Hey Pipes! Happy Valentines Day! You ready for our date?" "Hmmm sure, where are we going?" She responded with a smile, he tapped his nose, "that's for me to know and you to find out, we are going on an adventure though" he smiled, "bubsssss pleaseeee tell meeee" she begged him, "noooo babyyyy it will spoilll itttt" he insisted, she pulled a pout and sat back on the seat, folding her arms, "your mean" she sulked, he sighed, "I am but you love me" he leaned over and kissed her cheek, immediately leading to her cheeks glowing, "yeah I do"
After about a half hour drive, they reached their date destination, a gigantic fun fair! Piper was so happy with his destination choice for the date. They spent hours running through the place, going on the rides and games, Finn won Piper a giant Teddy bear on the shooting game, she won him one a couple minutes later, they bought ice cream. Finn getting it on his nose as he licked it, making Piper giggle as he did, leading to them having an ice cream fight with who could put some on the others face the most going on. Eventually they ended up on the Ferris wheel.
As their carriage slowly rose to the top on the wheel, he slid his hand across their laps and took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers together as they shuffled closer to one another, Piper laying her head on her boyfriends shoulder, he planted a kiss on the top of her head, "So did you enjoy today? Did I do a good job?" He asked her gently, "Yea, you did amazing, the funfair, the snacks, the teddy bear. You just did perfect and I loved it, and I love you!" "I love you too and you look beautiful by the way" he complimented her outfit choice which made red flush to her cheeks, "you don't look too bad yourself Finny" she smirked looking up at him, he allowed the space between them to fade and pressed his lips against hers, they kissed for what felt like forever but in reality it was only about a minute, they both pulled back for air, breathing deeply as they just embraced eachother in their arms above a beautiful view. After a moment of silence "oh yea f y i James knows we have done it" she giggled, "oh dammit I better keep my distance from him for a while." "I guess so"
They were just driving back the long way, when Piper saw an opportunity to have one last bit of fun, "Hey Finn pull over here" he was confused "Why we would just be on the coastline?" "Just do it, let's have some fun!" He pulled over and Piper instantly got out of the car, "Race you to the sea!" She yelled before slamming the door, kicking her shoes off and bolting down to the water, she knew it would be a bit cold cos it's February but oh well, Finn wasn't too far behind her, catching up with her as she was knee deep in water, both of them tumbling into the water in fits of laughter, standing up and splashing eachother and spinning round goofily, small pecks to the lips here and there but it was one thing. Perfect
Lying on the sand, as the sun went down, their cold bodies pressed up against eachother, "so did I do good Miss Piper Rose?" He asked with a kiss, "You did this perfectly, Finley Issac, thank you for this, and being here" she whispered, "I'll always be here"
