✨Part Two of "Keep it a Secret" ✨

Piper listened in on the other side of the door as she heard her team talking foul about her and her relationship, the people she had known as family for the past three and a half years were really against her now... "I can't believe she would do that! She could be a double agent!" "That's such a snakey move!" "I bet he doesn't really love her!" "Would Piper really do that to us?!" "She is so dead!" were among the hurtful words used to describe her, she felt numb, tears poured from her eyes as she started to cry, opening the door slowly revealing her team, their faces turned stern and sorry as they saw her, "Oh Hey Pipes..."
Henry started nervously, "Don't 'Hey Pipes' me!...you know I didn't ask to fall in love! But I did 8months ago and it's been the best time of my life, I didn't tell you guys because I knew you would react like this! How dare you assume I would betray the team! How dare you hurt me like this! How dare you!" She screamed at them before slamming the door, the loud bang sounded multiple hallways down, Finn heard it loud and clear, assuming it was someone dropping a prop or something, he chose to ignore it. The team were left exchanging looks with one another, some were sympathetic, others weren't, Nick emerged from the door, the wide eyes of A Troupe intimidating him a tad, "What? Did I leave Taylor Swift playing again?" Oh if only he knew...

Piper ran through the maze of corridors, she was trying to find Finn but was struggling, her breathing became rapid and vision blurred a tad as the effects of a panic attack slowly consumed her, as her legs slowly weakened, she gave up and slowly slumped down a wall, tucking her knees into her chest and allowing herself to pour out her emotions, sobbing loudly, almost screaming, she felt hurt, betrayed and hopeless...

Finn was expecting to just see Piper a bit later, they had to keep their cover up, following his team out of their dressing room to go and get pizza, just chatting with a few of his teammates when he heard pounding footsteps down the corridor, turning to look who it was he saw a man who he believed was called Nick, He was The Next Step's studio head and owner as of recent times... Finn didn't think much of it until he heard his distressed voice yell "Piper! Piper! Are you here!" The English man sounded worried as he called out, Finn watched as he approached a nationals official, " excuse me have you seen a TNS team member? She's about yay tall, brown hair to about just past her shoulders, two braid things in it, wearing a tns jacket and navy leggings and black trainers? She's got a history of anxiety and I'm worried about both her welfare and her whereabouts" Finn felt his blood run cold, she was fine when he left her...what on earth happened in that dressing room?! He held back from following his team and diverted his attention to finding his girlfriend...

Wandering through the spiralling maze of corridors, calling out her name... after about 20minutes of searching, he found Piper, she was curled up tightly in a ball on the ground, her knees were tucked up to her chest, her arms wrapped tightly around her knees and her head down, she was rocking back and forth against the wall and visibly shaking, this was one of the worst states he had ever seen her in, this was bad.

He approached slowly and knelt down in front of her, "Pipes" he whispered softly, making her aware of his presence, after a moment he gently reached to hold her hands, drawing circles slowly on the back of her hands with his thumbs. "Pipes? Can you hear me? Squeeze my hand if you can hear me?" He prompted her calmly and after about 30seconds he felt her weakly squeeze his hand, a small bit of relief washed over him, "Can you look at me baby? Please?" She slowly raised her head, revealing her tear stained face, "Ok good now Pipes you need to breathe with me and answer these questions ok?" She nodded fast, "Right we have done this before, so I want you to tell me everything you can sense, what can you see, smell, taste, feel and hear...take your time baby" he asked her soothingly, she nodded her head in the familiarity of this exercise, she took a couple breathers, "I can see...you and that colourful painting on the wall...I can smell your aftershave that I bought you in the mall on our shopping trip..." she smiled at the memory of the mall that day, "Yeah that was a great day, I bought you that infinity necklace remember?" Finn smiled back at her recalling his own memories of that day, "I can taste the cake from earlier...I can feel your hands holding mine and the air conditioning, and I can hear your voice and the hoover up the corridor" she finished listing her senses which always surprised her in how much it calmed her down from an attack. Finn stood up and offered his hand to help her, she accepted and once stood up wrapped her arms around him tightly, nuzzling her head into his chest, "You wanna tell me what happened now?" He urged her calmly, "They found out" she whispered almost inaudibly, Finn just pressed a kiss to her head, "it's alright, I'm here now"
