Summary: Blake and Lucas teach the meaning love to Brandon as he was never taught it properly.

Lucas walks into the guild hall and sits down tiredly next to Blake, "What's up?" Lucas groaned then looked up to lock eye contact with Blake.

"Life. Is. Difficult."

Blake giggled and placed a hand on Lucas' shoulder, Lucas looked down and banged his head softly on the table. Blake softly smiled and continued reading her book. Lucas wasn't the one who was tired, Blake was too tired to do anything other than read, they both looked down and stressed.

"You guys look tired, what wrong?" Ritchie says walking over to sit down as he places two drinks in front of the two. Blake just sighed and Lucas groaned, Ritchie softly smiles and nodded. I'll just ask them another day.

"Feeling better already?" Blake says in her usual happy self, Lucas nods and sees a certain guild leader reading a book about love with a very confused expression. Lucas stops and Blake notices his sudden action, Blake turns her head to see what he was looking at and sees Brandon. "Brandon!" The mentioned boy looks up and sees the two blue individuals. Lucas and Blake walk over to him and he stands up for a proper conversation.

"What are you doing?" Blake notices the book in Brandon's hand but couldn't see what it was about.

"Reading a book about love, but I don't get it. Like, I'm already halfway into the story but there hasn't been at least one set up marriage yet, big fight scene or a gold digger." Brandon gives the book to the two for them to read it.

"Brandon. What do you think love is?" Lucas asks suddenly, Blake nods and gives the book back to Brandon. Brandon thinks for a while.

"I... don't know." Blake puts a hand on Brandon's shoulder and gives it a pat with a bright smile.

"We'll teach you love."

Ritchie quietly gives off a 'yeah!' As he fistbumps the air, Devin tried to quiet Ritchie down as they sneak away to see where they were going.

"Ok, first of all. Let's start with the basics." Blake nodded to Lucas and Lucas held out a large poster regarding the different stages of love. "Firstly, we have platonic love. This means that you love someone but not romantically, you want them to be around you, so you feel complete." Brandon took a few notes and nodded for Blake to continue.

Blake pointed to the next stage, "This one is sibling love, quite self-explanatory, you love your siblings." Brandon smiled softly and thought about his brother. "Next one! Alright, now it goes a little more deeper." Brandon nodded prepared to take notes. "3rd level is a crush or love at first sight. A crush is when you like someone but you don't have the courage to tell them you like them." Lucas tripped over the long/large sheet of paper and hit the ground, Blake laughed and helped Lucas.

Crush... Is a crush the part when I feel all hot and feel my heart ache when I'm around them? Brandon thought intensely and got caught off by the sound of rustling of bushes, What was that? Brandon looked around and saw a certain blue-haired, lightning mage in the bushes. He chuckled and decided to give them the show they wanted after.

"Alright, sorry about that Brandon." Brandon just nodded and Blake smiled, "You know you have a crush when your heart beats when you're around them or admiring them from afar, most of the time get flustered and stammer, or you feel yourself get all hot." Blake explained as Brandon took a few more notes and thought, I have a so called crush on these two.

"There are also other things called poly relationships, where 3 or more people are in a romantic relationship." Brandon heard it click and now he got it. "If you manage to keep your relationship flowing for a few years then there is marriage. Marriage is a very large part in life, it's like promising you'll stay with the one you love forever until you get a divorce, or die." Brandon nodded and once he finished note taking he looked up to see the two hesitate on the next one.

"That's technically it, more details will be made when you go into a loving relationship Brandon. I'm sure the one you like will teach you other details of each stage of love." Lucas rolled up the paper and stood up. Brandon looked at the bushes again and saw the two were still there, Now or never, element of surprise!

Brandon stood up and ran over to the two and knocked them down into a hug. The lightning mage wasn't expecting that but Devin did.

"Brandon?" Lucas asks quite flustered of the sudden action, Blake also looking really flustered as well.

"I just want to say thank you for teaching me love, and..." Brandon hesitated and helped the two up on their feet.

"And?"

"I love you guys! Romantically." Lucas put a hand over his mouth, shocked. Blake was shocked and Brandon leaned in to kiss them both on the lips. "Let's date." The two looked at each other and nodded at the air mage.

"Well... that was unexpected."

"For you."
