Summary: It's Kol's birthday and Shino wants to find the perfect gift for him!

"Happy birthday Kol! And for my present, I will not turn into you for the whole week!" Flex gave a 'yes sir!' Stance and Kol sighed but laughed afterwards. Kol turned to Blake who was reading a book on the sofa, currently just flipping through pages. He leaned in closer but Blake closed the book suddenly making a pretty loud sound.

"No peeking. I don't have my gift yet." Blake said in her usual cold voice, Kol and Flex looked at each other and Flex gestured to just leave her alone.

"What are you planning to do for your birthday Kol?" Flex happily walked down the street to head tot he cafe nearby. Kol shrugged and put his hands in his jacket pockets.

"Probably the usual, the thing I do everyday." They both sat down after they ordered their drinks.

"Which is..?"

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I have no one to celebrate it with, so I just buy myself a cake and rest for the whole day." Kol sipped from his drink and looked at Flex.

"That's.. sad." Flex had a hint of sadness in his voice, since he can't express his feelings with his face, Kol shrugged as he looks somewhere else. He sees a certain black hair, with a red strip in his hair, about to "walk" over to them.

"Hey there! Also happy birthday Kol!" Nico teleports through the glass and gives off a bright, energetic smile to the two. They both greeted Nico back and continued to drink.

"Wait.. how do you when my birthday is?" Kol put down his hand-drank drink and looked at Nico who had just sat down.

"The principal has a this list of when all our birthdays are!" Nico sipped from his drink, as Flex and Kol just look at each other, filled with questions.

"Hey birthday boy, yellow slime and energy juice! Come here for a second!" Ah yes, that annoying sound you call David had just had to show up. The three stood up and walked across the street to where David and few other people were.

"Happy birthday Kol!" Rikku and Shizu said in sync, David just nods and hands over a box not wrapped very well. Kol takes it and thanks them.

"Shino is still at the supermarket, we had to leave without him because we saw you." Kol looks up as he heard Shino's name, totally not suspicious at all, "You can go see him, but I don't recommend it. He'll scratch you like a kitten if you disturb him." Kol laughs and just nods. "Anyway, we need to head out! See you later, alligator!" The three wave at the other three as they walk away.

"Should we go see Shino?" Nico asks, Kol shakes his head.

"We shouldn't disturb him. You probably don't want to experience getting scratched by Shino. Also, take this back to the dorm for me, I need to go do something." Kol hands over the not well-wrapped present to Nico and waves them goodbye as they leave after nodding.

Shino stares intensely at the product he is looking at, he had currently been doing this for 4 hours, and it was only 11am. H was determined to find the perfect ✨ gift for Kol, it's not like he likes him or anything, they're just.. really good friend, yeah.
