Weak and Useless?

Summary: Kay was wondering through the forest near the guild hall, she saw 3 men and tried to build up courage to chase them away. But she just ran off in her fox form, bumping into Lo'pho she ran into her burrow and cried until the others confronted her and she told them her problems.

Kay was walking through the forest near the Protectors Guild Hall, she suddenly heard a shout it sounded very unfamiliar. She turned into a bird and flew up into a tree, she saw 3 men with crossbows and swords. Anxiety filled up in her head, it looked like they were looking for someone or something. They could've been looking for her, she suddenly felt a little more confident. She flew down and turned back into her normal body behind the 3 men, they stopped in their tracks and felt a different aura behind them. Looking behind, they saw a small fox Kay lost her courage.

The fox ran away back into the guild hall, accidentally running into Lo'pho. Kay turned back into a human and apologised to Lo'pho something was troubling Kay, he could hear it in her voice when she apologised.

"Is there anything troubling you Kay?" Lo'pho attracted attention from the other guild members, she shook her head giving him a short smile before speed-walking away. They all looked at each other in concern, for they haven't seen Kay like this ever since that incident...

Kay was in her little burrow/house, taking small bites into the cookies Mario dropped off while she was gone. The thought of the 3 men filled her head with anxiety, she felt weak and useless knowing that she could've chased them off away from the guild, but her courage melted away (Uh, reference from WOE if anybody remembers). She payed down on her bed, missing her pets she originally had before the incident. That made her thoughts go worse, she quietly cried into her pillow. The sound of the fire from the fire pit was all she could hear but as well the faint sound of rain, it has been roughly 30 minutes before she walked off from the hall. Her pillow was stained from her crying and her eyes were puffy, she heard faint footsteps since the rain and fire filled her ears. She quickly sat up from her bed and tried to look natural, she wiped the remaining tears from her face and heard the footsteps getting closer. She got a cookie from her bedside table and nibbled on it before looking up.

"Are you alright Kay?" The sound of Lo'pho's voice attracted her attention, she looked up to see Bri, Jakey, Bryan and obviously Lo'pho. She took the cookie out of her mouth and gave a fake smile.

"I'm alright, w-why do you ask?" She stuttered a bit, slightly cursing at herself for stuttering. They frowned and Bryan sat down on the bed along with Jakey, Bryan put his hand on her shoulder making her confused with the affection they have given to her.

"You really shouldn't lie to us." Bri walked a little more closer to Kay, Kay sat quiet not saying anything to the others. Awkward silence filled the air. Suddenly new footsteps could be heard only one person though, they all looked up and saw Kit from DM, Kay jumped off her bed and hugged Kit tightly. Kit smiled as well as Kay, the others were in shock and confusion. Words were coming out of Kit's mouth that the others didn't hear except for Kay, her words seemed to calm the girl down while tears flowing. Kay didn't mind how Kit's clothes and hair were soaked from the rain, a little late Stu came in and grabbed his girlfriend and kissed her passionately on the lips. Kit smiling, the Protectors still in shock and Kay smiled after being let go.

Kay explained everything that was troubling her and they all had a large group hug, it was silent well not really. Fire and rain was still heard but they all ended up sleeping in different places inside Kay's burrow/house. Kay smiled knowing that her friends and boyfriend cares about her. She slept peacefully.
