Trauma Panic Blood

Summary: Mario has trauma, he's had trauma ever time he sees blood and he starts having a panic attack, but David is always there. It happens one day but David isn't there to comfort him. How will he comprehend without him?

Mario walked across the empty hall, pacing back and forth as he stared at the floor. What was that thing I saw? Maybe I should go back, just in case if it hurts anybody. Mario snapped out of his trance and rushed to go to the place.

Mario walked the narrow footpath that was leading deeper into the forest, the track hasn't been used in years. Mario could hear the patter of his footsteps, the wind, his heartbeat and faint ruffles of leaves. Mario looked left and right every few milliseconds, what was he so afraid of?

His shoes started to get dirtier as he entered the forest much more, it's been a good couple of hours and it had started to rain. Just a sprinkle though. Mario had calmed down and was now spacing out slowly while playing with a rock in his hand.

"Ow!" Mario snapped out of his trance again and felt the back of his head as he felt as if he was hit with a rock of some sort; it was sharp and painful. Mario could now see clearly as the rain has stopped and he had got out of his daydream, patches of blood was scattered across the track and on some trees; Mario heart beat started to race.

Mario looked up and down. Where am I? Mario started to look around and was ready to fight, though his anxiety was starting to grow as he entered the dark more. Which way is the exit? The darkness started to overwhelm him a bit more, the bright midnight sky didn't help as he could see the blood, resulting into pressure to get out, anxiety and panic. His breathing fastened and was tripping over small bits of rocks ever few seconds.

He saw a shadowy figure coming closer, "D-David? If that's you, please it's not f-funny anymore! Y-you got me!" Mario was now sitting on the floor; slightly crying. The figure started to come closer. "Please, n-no!"

Mario woke up with a gasp and started to breathe in and out quickly, he placed a hand over his mouth and ear to quickly drown out any thoughts, noises or words. He felt a soft hand land on his shoulder and he flinched, slapping the hand away hard. The person flinched as well but still put an arm around his neck and hugging him tightly.

"Someone get David he's having a panic attack!" The person yelled out, the familiar voice made Mario look up and saw who it was. It was Lucas. Mario sat still waiting for the big arms to hug him gently and give him soft kisses on his head, his breathing and heart quickened as he heard a door open.

Lucas was gently pushed out of the way as David hugged Mario tightly, letting the smaller boy cry into his chest. David whispered soft breathing techniques into Mario's ear; slowly calming him.

It took about 2 and a half for Mario to fully calm down and now there is a sleeping Mario in David's arms, they were both leaning onto each other comfortably falling asleep.

"That's cute."
