"Don't Be Sad Anymore"

Summary: Shino is sad and Artemis comforts him.

Shino eyes avert to the ceiling as he moves his head to face upwards, the simple wooden ceiling makes him feel like he's in a lost gaze, even though there is nothing there. As if it was a simple illusion, pulling him in. What was it exactly? A pool of shame and discomfort, the people in the academy weren't any better. It was as if his whole life was crashing down and no one could save him.

He lays on the simple bed, which was his own, lying there, lost in thought, he felt as if he couldn't get up, no piece of energy was inside of him to help get away from the comfortable mattress. The feel of the soft pillows and blanket surrounds him, his world engulfing into the darkness, as he rests his eyes.

"Where are you right now? It's so dark and cold down here.."

Shino wakes up in a cold sweat, the aching pain from his head as he processes what had happened and because he woke up to fast. The world around him seeming cold and dark, his face filled with pure horror as he looks at himself in the mirror.

"A wreck." He says, "A wreck you are indeed." Repeating the words over and over again, makes him feel self-conscious and curl up into a ball in the corner of his room.

The stinging pain from his eyes hurt like hell. He let's go of himself, and feel the gentle teardrops run against his cheek, down to his chin and making a light splash onto the cold, wooden floor.

Was it my fault I couldn't save her?

Of course it was. It's always MY fault!

Teardrops fall and fall from his face, making it hard to see, what was in front of him, what was touching him, what was he doing? Is it all a dream?

He could almost hear the teardrops hitting the ground and making a slight echo, making him want to cry even harder, the once quiet room was now filled with sobs and screaming.

But no one could hear him.

Or..

Was there someone there?

Standing in the frame of his door, watching the boy from his uncomfortable view.

It was saddening.

Heart breaking.

Shattering.

A sad sight to see.

Sad..

Shino woke up with a tired face. Heading towards the bathroom, he looks at himself in the mirror.

He sees himself rubbing his red puffy eyes as he yawns tiredly. His eyes were about to droop any second and he couldn't let that keep him down.

Although. It was cold. Very cold.

He took a shower and then was wearing a black and yellow hoodie with his signature black and yellow beanie. Making him look like a bee as he shines brightly back to the mirror, or not brightly? His face seemed to darken as he thinks about last night.
