As a last task Ahsoka went back to the temple, telling the Sith, she forgot the energy cell and that she can as well have it charged on the way back from Doan. Thus they retrieved the energy cell from the top of the column and Ahsoka carried it into the inquisitor's ship. When passing by the dead inquisitors, she knew she had to come back and clean up the mess, clean the platform up. The imperium might send a search probe and it would be better if it would not find anything suspicious here. After carrying to and securing the energy cell in the VT-49 she returned to the inquisitors. Looking at them she realized, that the jacket of the first and the trousers of the second were OK, not too badly stained with blood. Something drove her to take 'em off. Eventually she ended up taking parts of the inquisitor's uniforms, until she had a complete set. Then she pulled them away from the temple into a nearby ditch, which was very exhausting and it took her about an hour. Thereafter, she used two light sabers, to burn all the blood. Before, pools of crimson speckled the platform, now charcoal lingered on it. Again that Sisyphus work had taken another hour.

Finally having returned to the VT-49, she activated the autopilot and the ship closed all openings and took off for Doan. Ahsoka was thirsty and hungry by now, so she started to search the ship for food while the autopilot conveniently flew it. The VT-49's interior was customized. Usually the body interior of the VT-49 is either a cargo area or a troop transporter with rows of seats. This one however had been turned into a living space. Behind the big window of the bow was a table with 2 chairs and a couch. As well impressive was the little kitchen area which was on the left side behind the couch. It featured a fridge, where she found food and drinks, a retractable sink and a multifunctional oven. The right wall came out by about 5cm on a length of 3 meters. Turned out, those were 4 beds. Each a plank with an inflatable matrass on it. The whole bed could hoover, once pulled out. The height it would hoover at could be adjusted and it could be moved anywhere. At the rear end of this room was a bathroom area. The bathroom really was a highlight, inflatable shower cabin, fold up sink, a mirror and a retractable toilet in a sealed container. A half-moon shaped light shield could be activated to block sight into the whole bathroom area, providing some privacy. At this moment she felt the ship leaving the atmosphere of the planet and automatically entering hyperspace. They called it hyperspace, it was a simplification, while in fact it was traveling through the space-time continuum in a hyperspace bubble. The bubble moves through a bent space-time continuum while the space ship remains at exactly the same position within the bubble. It was kind of like a flexible net, when the net was flat, it was impossible to travel faster than the speed of light, but when it was bent, one could take short cuts so to speak. Taking short cuts essentially allows for travelling beyond the speed of light. Within the bubble, the ship was steady, it was a very fast and comfortable way of traveling. Smaller obstacles would get pushed around the bubble, the deep space sensors checked for other space ships and asteroids, then forcing minor cruise corrections, the only problem were objects with high gravitation. They had to get accounted for by using the star maps.

During the hyperspace ride, Ahsoka had time and tranquility, the autopilot flew the ship. For the first time after three months, she could pay attention to herself again, to her appearance. When she looked into the mirror, she realized, that she was all dirty and shaggy. She did not have any water in the temple and never cleaned herself. Good thing, her Sith friends could not smell her. Much to her anguish she also saw, that she had yellow eyes like a Sith. What she did not know was, that her eye color was mixed, yellow and blue. The yellow was more apparent in low light while the blue was more apparent in bright light. After that shock had settled a bit, she decided to make use of the shower. Having taken all her clothes off she looked into the mirror again. She always used to be rather thin, but now she had built up nice muscles for a woman, a very well trained female figure. It must have been the result of all that physical training in the temple. She pressed a button so that the shower cylinder got inflated, then she entered it. Man did she enjoy that shower, she did not want to get out of it anymore, but eventually the water stopped. Eh, what a bummer, the water tank probably got depleted. Leaving the shower cabin, she thought a towel might really come in handy right now. Looking around a little bit, Ahsoka saw a cabinet door and behind it were ... fresh towels. After drying herself up, she pressed a button to deflate the shower cabin and with low air pressure the remaining water in the cabin got evaporated, before it eventually got deflated. There still was another room at the far end. Opening the door she saw a small cargo area and the loading door at the rear. She was tiered and a closer inspection of that room had to wait. With thoughts of cozy and comfortable sleep occupying her mind, Ahsoka had one of the beds inflated. In another cabinet she found a sleeping bag, which she placed on the bed and then crawled into it. She knew, despite her first resentment, she had very much fallen in love with this ship already, it is hers now and the whole entire empire would not be able to take it away from her again. After so many years of having been homeless, not even being able to call a decent bed her own, this was her home now. HER HOME! Ahsoka's home! After a few more seconds she was asleep and in dreamland.

The dark side was satisfied, Ahsoka loved the present. After all it was carefully selected.

In her dreams she saw herself requesting the nomination as a Sith master from her Sith friends. Even in her dream she was shocked about it, but there was this strong urge to really do it. Then she saw herself with master Yoda in a swamp. They were quarreling. She was mad at Yoda and then they were fighting. Her dream was ended by a peeping noise, which woke her up. She looked up hearing the ships computer announce: "Approaching Doan." Still a bit drowsy, she got up and found her cloths sprayed over the floor. They were dirty and smelling, she could not wear those, or rather she really didn't wanted. The only other option were those inquisitor cloths. She would rather have them washed first, but she could only choose the lesser evil. Those cloths were too big for her, but rolling up the sleeves and legs, it was OK. They hung loose on her allowing the smuggling of drugs, tobacco, booze or whatever tied to her belly, but she could not help it at the moment. While dressing, she glanced the energy cell from the Sith ship, standing around and thought it might be wise to bring it into the cargo area and have it secured before landing.
