Mike's POV:

He had a feeling, that fixing the drones might be rather easy. They might just have depleted energy cells. Having them recharge, should rather go quickly. Once he had left the VT-49, he regretted his actions though. The drones could have easily waited until they were back on Tatooine. He knew he had pissed off Ahsoka and ruined a nice evening. When it came to tinkering, his mind was just working one way.

There was a service shop here at the spaceport, of which he believed, they could do it. The shop also had the equipment to restore factory settings and thereafter, he could program Ahsoka and him as the drones masters. His feeling had proven right, it had been a rather easy task to put these drones back into service. Leaving the shop, his brain was finally freed from the tinkering process, thus it had plenty of processing power available again and so he came back to think about Ahsoka. Maybe she would be lenient with him, if he got her a present. A perfume and flowers would hopefully do the trick.

Asking the people of the service shop, he was directed to the major shopping mall of Ryloth. After arrival in the mall, he again had to ask for a perfume and flower shop at the info center. A minute later he entered a perfume shop and long and behold, there was the Twi'lek super vixen from yesterday, receiving a sales talk form one of the shop assistants. Again, his sight got locked, he was mesmerized and magically and unconsciously drawn closer to the fox. There were four other Twi'lek women with her and when he approached the group, three of them buried him with a killer gaze. That moment, he realized, that the three had two hand-blasters each, readily waiting at their waist belt. While the fox was dressed immaculately and the women right next to her was dressed in fine attire, but not quite as luxurious, the other three were dressed casually. It took him two seconds to figure, that the one next to the fox was a maid and the other three wore bodyguards. In the cram packed, low-lit club yesterday, he did not realize that. The two bodyguard drones were momentarily flying left and right above his head, so that he did not have to carry them, which in turn alarmed the bodyguards of the super vixen. He sensed, that it could easily lead into a fully unnecessary fight. Well he was looking forward into an engagement with the super vixen, but not with her bodyguards. As such, he lifted his hands up a bit, showing his palms and moved a couple of steps backwards, which put the bodyguards at ease again. Nothing more that he could do, than patiently waite until the super vixen and her entourage moved on. As he was next in line, the shop assistant gestured him to approach her: "Hello, how can I help you?"

"I'm looking for a perfume for my girlfriend."

Before the shop assistant asked him further questions, she explained: "Sorry about the situation. That was Tabi Free-Taa from the Taa clan and her entourage. The bodyguards are always worried and on the lookout."

"Hmmm, so the Taa clan must be rich and powerful?"

"Rich, powerful and hated!"

"What does that mean?"

"It means, that Tabi was brought up in a golden cage. She was not allowed to have any friends out of fear of them being used one or the other way to blackmail them or worse. The only friends she has today are from other rich and powerful families, all grown up in a similar golden cage. No one likes them, because they regard themselves equal to demigods. Two times already, people unsuccessfully tried to take her hostage a third time, they succeeded and she was released for ransom. Bodyguards around her have a comparatively short life expectation, but they get paid a fortune. I pity her. There is nobody in her life, whom she can trust, nobody who loves her without money talking. Her parents are busy making money and preserving their power. She is just an asset in regards. Tabi is not allowed to talk to men, because she is already promised to the prince. The only fun she has is looking down on ordinary people and they hate her for it."
